- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

editHello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Christopher Nkunku, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 20:49, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Dušan Vlahović, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:58, 18 February 2023 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Boccobrock. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Robert Lewandowski—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Boccobrock•T•C 21:01, 2 March 2023 (UTC)

editHello. In a recent edit to the page Tim Ream, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the first author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. —ShelfSkewed Talk 13:22, 30 April 2023 (UTC)

editPlease stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Alexandre Lacazette, you may be blocked from editing. Mattythewhite (talk) 23:18, 27 May 2023 (UTC)

Released players
editIn the English system, contracts end on 30 June (so players leave clubs on that date) and begin on 1 July (so players join new clubs on that date). Please wait until those dates before editing. GiantSnowman 15:41, 29 May 2023 (UTC)

editThis is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Karim Benzema, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Unsourced content. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:06, 6 June 2023 (UTC)

How do I add considering Retirement banner
editI've tried but failed. Anyone know how? MyMindIsIn43PlacesAllAtOnce (talk) 20:10, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
- for future reference: see [1] where you can add one of those banners. At this moment, I see you're interested in making more edits, usually updating articles about English footballers when a football match is in progress but then others revert back.
