editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2012–13 Manchester City F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Abdul Razak (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

re: Reliable sources of Premier League Statistics
editHi, I do not decide which sources are reliable or not, I follow general consensus and the info given to me. I will explain the info for you, but the basics are thaqt both are user-edited.
About wikipedia not being a reliable source you can read at WP:WPNOTRS, which states (in bold) Thus Wikipedia articles (or Wikipedia mirrors) are not reliable sources for any purpose..
About transfermarkt the discussion abour this source has taken place many times and it has been decided it is also not reliable, as you can read about at:
- Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 150#Transfermarkt player profiles
- Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 121#Transfermarkt
- Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football/Archive 84#Mbaye Diagne
- Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football/Archive 40#transfermarkt.de (old source)
- Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2013 December 10#Template:Transfermarkt
For transfermarkt not being reliable perhaps User:GiantSnowman has better sources for you or you could ask at WT:FOOTY.
For finding reliable sources try reading WP:RS, there are many different reliable sources.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask. QED237 (talk) 16:05, 10 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. re: Edits to MCFC 15/16 Season page
editHi, First of all I am glad that you asked what was wrong so it can be fixed in the future. I should have explained it when I reverted and I am sorry about that, but I will explain step by step now.
- First of all I was planning on reverting only your last edit (diff) where you updated the result from the match, but acccidently reverted all, so sorry about that.
- My first reason for reverting was that you used an invalid html linebreak. As WP:LINEBREAK says The
<br>
or<br />
tag is used for a single forced line break. In your edit you used<br/>
which is not prefferred. Any of<br>
or<br />
is okay, but for consistency<br />
is used everywhere else in the ManCity article. - Then you also added some extra spaces that is really not needed. I am a man of consistency, so either it is used everywhere or nowhere and never around linebreaks. please use
]]<br />[[
instead of]] <br /> [[
and when some parameters is without space, like "report" or "team1", then it looks weird when you add space to "score", "goals2" and so on. - A player name was also incorrect and not linked to the correct article ("Fernandinho" is at "Fernandinho (footballer, born May 1985)").
- There is no article at "London, England" it is at "London"
- No source or confirmation has been given for matchtime in the final
- Liverpool should be listed as "hometeam".
If you compare your edit, to the version after my edit (diff) and ignore the changes in infobox and overall section you had done meanwhile, you can see the difference in the matchdata.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Qed237 (talk) 12:03, 28 January 2016 (UTC)

Seasons overview
editHi, Ratchet. I appreciate your contributions to Man City articles. I have a question though; should City's next season be covered similarly to Real Madrid [1] with short reviews per each match? I think Madrid’s summary is too dull, but I like the format because it leaves no doubt whether matches should or should not be covered 45.159.249.206 (talk) 14:28, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- @45.159.249.206 I'd prefer to keep the summary to cover key matches, milestones, and records rather than a blow by blow account of every match. There are details of every match and links to match reports if users want to dive into the details. There will always be more details of the later season matches where the club is competing for major honours, and this is fine if it conveys the story of a title race, but there is less value in having detailed descriptions of early season games or early rounds of Cup competitions unless they have dramatic outcomes or record breaking feats. Ratchet8865 (talk) 17:38, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
Understood! Yes, perhaps it's the best option, considering that neither 2022–23 Real Madrid CF season nor 2022–23 Arsenal F.C. season provide better experience.
