Welcome to Wikipedia, Muhammad Mukhriz! I am Notedgrant and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

My FAQs edit

Questions:

Q1: How to get other "tags" for my user page? ANSWRED

Q2: How should I contribute to Wikipadia? ANSWRED

Q3: How can I colour my font? ANSWRED

Q4: How can someone detect that I have vandalized one of the Wikipedia articles? Geez! I didn't vandalize, I am just asking!! ANSWRED

Q5: Can I use http://library.thinkquest.org for adding citations? ANSWERED

Q6: How can we identify "reliable" sources? I am confused about which one is a reliable source, honestly. So help me to understand. ANSWERED

(Answer like this A1: A2: with seperate lines each)

Answers:

A1: By tags, I assume you mean "userboxes", you can find some more here.

A2: You can contribute to Wikipedia constructively however you want! Take a look at:

A3: You should only really colour your font in your signature (I think), but if you want to, the basic html code is <font color="colour goes here">Your text here</font> So, if I wanted a red font, I would type My text goes here which looks like this <font color="red">My text goes here</font> Puffin Let's talk! 13:22, 17 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

A4: With tools such as WP:VF, WP:HG, WP:GLOO - which give information about changes to pages - around 150 pages changes per minute - tools have ways to filter out well known "good" editors, leaving the known "bad" ones, and the unknowns. Some tools then allow the viewer to revert the last user's edit(s) with the press of a single key (and issue a warning to the user's talk page).  Ronhjones  (Talk) 00:52, 26 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

A5: Citations in articles should be to reliable sources, published books, magazines, newspaper articles, etc. Although reliability is intimately related to context, in general ask yourself whether the source has a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. library.thinkquest appears to be the epitome of an unreliable source because it is user created "by students for students", a collection of self-published sources. It is by random, anonymous people, with no editorial oversight. It is not by a professional, third party publishing organization known for journalistic integrity and accuracy. If that isn't clear, the short answer to your question is: no.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 10:00, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

A6: See WP:IRS. 11:13, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Islam edit

Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know I am glad to be reviewing the article Islam you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria.   This process may take up to 5-12 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Tito Dutta (Send me a message) 15:27, 2 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Though WP:DEADREF is not very important issue in GA review, there are some dead refs in the article. If possible correct these. I have added the note in GA review page! --Tito Dutta (Send me a message) 22:28, 2 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
No, you can not be both nominator and reviewer of same article. You have nominated the article for GA, now I (and if anyone else participates then he/she/they) will review the article according to the criteria. I have made some suggestion in GA review page, you can post comment in that page (there will not be any problem if you post comment in review page or answer my questions). --Tito Dutta (Send me a message) 23:58, 2 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

What do you think about this categorical name? edit

Do you think "Recognised" is appropriate to describe English on the info-box for Brunei's Wikipedia article? SirAlexOreo (talk) 01:55, 5 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
