St Finbarr's National Hurling & Football Club

edit

Why are you showing Togher after their name? If we follow this rule for every club, then Glen Rovers must show Blackpool, Sarsfields must show Riverstown etc. I think this is certainly not needed here. Pmunited (talk) 23:10, 21 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Broadford GAA (Clare)

edit

This was my mistake - I thought this link was for the Clare club. I accept that I was wrong here. My apologies. Pmunited (talk) 00:11, 1 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Meelick GAA and others

edit

I had the same disappointing experience with Clonbony GAA. Not even being county champions multiple times was enough to save the article. Off course, the social context is difficult to find in published sources but I think those guys totally miss the grasp of that. The Banner talk 10:51, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Template:Clare GAA clubs

edit

Ah, I noticed that you made some minor chances to Template:Clare GAA clubs. Do you have any idea why it only lists the male clubs and not the female? Maybe we should do something about that. (And fix that hard yellow colour) The Banner talk 23:00, 20 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Well!
I can't do anything about the colour I'm afraid as saffron doesn't register when I type it in but yellow is better than a basic grey so it'll do.
Also I didn't create the template so I can't comment on why it doesn't include ladies football or camogie.
There are however individual pages already created for Clonlara (Truagh), Feakle, Killanena, Kilkee (Bealaha), Scariff and Ogonnelloe which I don't have the time (or full knowledge) to keep as up to date as my own club Éire Óg.
I have previously created links to Kilmihil, Liscannor, Moy, Parteen-Meelick and The Banner but I have not had the chance (and again knowledge) to actually create them as of yet.
I have also just now created links for Burren Gaels, Cúil Gaels, Fergus Rovers and West Clare Gaels.
I fully agree with adding our ladies to this template so I'll try over the next while to add both in, but I'm going to first try find an up to date list for the 2023 championships. Muggins91 (talk) 11:39, 21 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
The colour chance was easy but I needed to use the hex code. And Éire Óg is (temporary) evil, after defeating Corofin in the semi-finals.   The Banner talk 11:58, 21 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Ah fair play! I'll change all my tables in every other page to saffron now!
...also no comment haha   Muggins91 (talk) 13:29, 21 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
