I have understood why I was blocked, the reason I gave a reference to the citation was invalid, wasn't for promotional use though. I read all the policies and now I believe I do understand.

Request reason:
I was trying to give reference links to the Wikipedia article, I gave a reference link but I got blocked because it was seen as promotional. It wasn't any form of promotional activity but it was wrongly linked by me that's the reason the user must have thought am doing promotional later i read what's right and now i have understood the usage and method of correct implementation
