Proposed deletion of Jason Duboe

The article Jason Duboe has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non notable athlete

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Jason Duboe

I reverted the request for the Jason Duboe article to be deleted, as there was a good version of the article prior to the vandalism, which I have since revdel'd. The page as it stands now is a neutral article on the subject. RickinBaltimore (talk) 13:37, 18 May 2022 (UTC)

Rick, we continue to see vandalism and slander on the page repeatedly. Would like to remove the page as the original creator as it continues to cause headaches and doesn't provide value.

This talk page is not an attack, so I am declining the deletion request for the page we are on right now. —Kusma (talk) 14:24, 18 May 2022 (UTC)

Kusma, the problem is the page is continually updated to include attacks/slander. So I am trying to just remove the page in totality. I have been asked to remove it by multiple parties including the subject. How can we get this page down? Msquared8706 (talk) 14:28, 18 May 2022 (UTC)

(edit conflict) This isn't how page deletion works. The Jason Duboe page has existed on Wikipedia for almost 12 years. At this point, if you'd like to see the page removed, you'll have to open an articles for deletion discussion about it, but that process only exists to remove pages that don't meet Wikipedia's inclusion criteria. Duboe apparently does merit inclusion, so the page is not likely to be deleted. If you find that the page is being vandalized frequently, you can request page protection which will prevent unregistered or newly-registered editors from vandalizing it. As the original poster, I would like this selection deleted as well. This is not a public figure, and should not exist as a wikipedia page. I created this 12 years ago and did not realize it still existed. The page has started to receive slander and false edits repeatedly. Msquared8706 (talk) 15:57, 18 May 2022 (UTC)
