- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

- Hi! Sorry I don't quite understand how I advertise a company here, this is my name? I post a few things in my name and have a personal brand, but I'm not advertising this here on my Wikipedia profile. Mrousavy (talk) 13:02, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
- Your userpage seems to be advertising your company. 多多123 (✉ • ✎) 13:05, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
- Hi - sorry I still don't see where I do that, my name is Marc Rousavy (I go by "mrousavy" online), and I am a software developer and founder. Should I rephrase that sentence and put my interests there? Mrousavy (talk) 13:07, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, I think that's fine now, thanks for collaborating. 多多123 (✉ • ✎) 13:10, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
A little suggestion maybe clarifying "family" for other people?- Remember not to put any private information, just keep it general.

editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself, at Draft:Marc Rousavy. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you.
