Speedy deletion nomination of Ben-Jamin

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ben-Jamin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Harry the Dog WOOF 12:04, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Happysailor. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Mastro without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, - Happysailor (Talk) 13:21, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ben-Jamin Newham

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ben-Jamin Newham requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. this article is a informative discription of a notable person… ust because YOU haven't heard of them doesn't make them unworthy of a page on wikipedia your wrong.. please stop reporting me.

Whether we have heard of them is not the issue. You have been given lots of good advice which you are choosing to ignore, and which will result in you being no longer able to edit Wikipedia. I will repeat - IMDb is not a reliable source, because it does not check the information that is submitted to it. Therefore basing an article on IMDb is always going to be a non-starter. Add to this that an actor with a few bit parts is very unlikely to pass the notability guidelines in the first place, you are unlikely to be able to produce a suitable article. Harry the Dog WOOF 15:38, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Your article, which you have now submitted several times under different titles does not claim encyclopedic notability, and has no reliable references (IMDb is not classified here as reliable). In the talk page of the article (now deleted) you make a comparison with another actor; the comparison is not valid, as she has appeared in several independently noted and notable productions and has a well-referenced article with independent, reliable third-party sources. Unless you can show affirmation of notability and good sources please do not create the article again, as after this warning it will be considered as potential vandalism.--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 15:56, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
