Sellers edit

As per WP:BRD, please do not edit war by reverting again. I should also point out that it's not permitted to cut and paste between articles. This is for several reasons, not least because there is a possibility of breaking the souring, as you've done here: in the film article refs 10 and 11 do not work. - SchroCat (talk) 11:39, 6 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please pick up my comments on the "Peter Sellers page" MrBalham2 (talk) 13:18, 6 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

ANI edit

Further to your comment on the ANI page, could I please ask who has told you that this is "common practice" for me and others, and how they have told you this? – SchroCat (talk) 15:16, 8 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Not sure what you are implying? I was made “aware" by reading Light show’s exmaples further up this thread. I didn’t need need to be “told” by anyone. MrBalham2 (talk) 18:13, 8 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
I was not implying anything, I was simply asking a straight question, which you have answered, thank you. However, I would be careful with accepting what Light show has said: I have already pointed out a number of untruths in his comments. – SchroCat (talk) 18:27, 8 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
That's fine. Please make sure your fellow editors aren't so abrasive with new editors finding their way.. Good luck with your future articles. MrBalham2 (talk) 18:47, 8 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

September 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Balham may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • The world’s first “intelligent” pedestrian crossings have also been trialled at [[Balham station]] (including [[Tooting Bec tube station | Tooting Bec]]}.<ref>[http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-26480686 'Intelligent' pedestrian crossings

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 19:10, 14 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Sellers edit

This is full of untruths about me, my thoughts and approach. I strongly suggest you edit it down to remove all references to what other people may say, as you have no idea why I have said or done what I have. - SchroCat (talk) 22:37, 18 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'll replace S&C with "other editors" if that helps. I'm just trying to focus the opposing argument in the statement. Apologies if it came across as personal. MrBalham2 (talk) 10:42, 20 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

December 2016 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Balham station, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Redrose64 (talk) 23:00, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Why do you persist in making edits like this? You are putting a {{multiple image}} block - which is a container for images - inside a |caption= parameter, something that is designed for text only, nothing else. It breaks the semantics of the infobox markup to use a parameter for something other than its intended purpose, which compromises accessibility. Please consider those for whom accessibility is not something that can be disregarded, but is an essential feature of good web design. --Redrose64 (talk) 23:44, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
