editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page SEACOM (cable system) has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \byoutube\.com (links: http://www.youtube.com/seacomlive). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Editing Pages
edit{{helpme}} - How can I add a logo to the Info Box on the [SEACOM]] page? - Are blog sites good external links or can they better serve as reference material? --monty14 (talk) 15:13, 3 June 2009 (UTC)Monty14
- Howdy. I guess you meant to put this here? Helpme's need to go on your talk page.
- The template template:Infobox Submarine communications cable does not have code for a logo. I'll add it in a minute and fix it up; I'll let you know.
- Blog sites are rarely reliable sources with certain exceptions (those written by 'experts' that are known to be reliable). See WP:BLOG. They can be used as external links, but remember to keep externals to a minimum - only if they add to the article. See WP:EL
- For more help, you can either;
- Leave a message on my own talk page;
OR
- Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end;
OR
- Talk to us live, with this or this.
- Best wishes, Chzz ► 15:22, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- I see that that template has a 'map' parameter; that can be used to add an image; I've done so with this edit. Chzz ► 15:27, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Please note that my reply to your question has now been archived. It is in User_talk:Chzz/Archive_10#Help Appreciated. Any threads over 100 hours old on my talk page are automatically archived; you can always use the search box at the top of my talk page and search for your name. Spotlight
editHi there. Hopefully you'll remember me, from my trying to help you; well, now it's my turn to ask for help.
I'm trying to help re-launch an idea called "Spotlight". The notion is to select an article and work on it collectively, via live discussion, for one week. If lots of people get involved, it can work really well; in the past, the project died off through lack of participants. Anyone can help out, because that's the whole point - we have many and varied skills, but between us, we can do amazing things. So - please join the channel, and add yourself to the participants in WP:SPOTLIGHT. Thanks for your time! Chzz ► 22:27, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
