Welcome

edit

Hello Moiz Sd and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to Emraan Hashmi, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Seraphim System (talk) 08:30, 21 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Peechha Karo

edit

Hello Moiz Sd,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Peechha Karo for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Ways to improve Peechha Karo

edit

Hi, I'm Slatersteven. Moiz Sd, thanks for creating Peechha Karo!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. We need sources, and some information.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Slatersteven (talk) 17:04, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Articles need sources both to establish notability and to verify claims made in the article. If an article is totally unsourced it may well get deleted. Do not remove tags unless the concerns they raise have been dealt with.Slatersteven (talk) 17:10, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Ruchika Pandey

edit

The article Ruchika Pandey has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, I'm OhKayeSierra. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to Faraaz Khan because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thanks.   Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Mohsin Khan, you may be blocked from editing. - Arjayay (talk) 08:48, 22 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Diffs: [1] In your haste to add people who may not have been credited as stars, to the |starring= parameter, you wound up misspelling Kalki Koechlin's name. Note that "starring" is a special credit that does not mean "appeared in". If Madhuri Dixit appeared in an item number, that is absolutely not the same thing as starring in a film. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 00:25, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Oh, and you've already been warned not to add your personal analysis to articles, so this is unacceptable. Wikipedia is not a trade magazine. We're not here to declare films blockbusters or failures or super-hits or average, etc. Please don't add this sort of content, even if it is sourced. This is inappropriate tone for an encyclopedia, and all content must be written from a neutral point of view. Thank you, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 00:28, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of 127B

edit

The article 127B has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No reliable reviews cited nor found in WP:BEFORE. Coverage is routine and unreliable. Fails WP:NFILM or WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
