editThis help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
Why are my hyperlinks for references not colored blue like most references that I see on other articles? I used the "Cite" templates. Check "Why U" and "Distributed Processing Technolody".
TIA.

- This edit looks ok to me. Could you give an example of the problem? PhilKnight (talk) 19:01, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
- Echoing PhilKnight, your pages look perfectly normal to me.Primefac (talk) 19:04, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
It appears that the problem is with Google Chrome. It appears normal with IE and Firefox. With Chrome, the hyperlinks (only in the references) are not blue.
Ways to improve National Young Composers Challenge
editHi, I'm Skamecrazy123. Mjschiff, thanks for creating National Young Composers Challenge!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Whilst the references are there, and seemingly notable, they need to be linked to the relevant text in the article.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Skamecrazy123 (talk) 17:08, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
Skamecrazy123 - Thanks for your help. I have added links to the references and removed your comment. Mjschiff (talk) 16:55, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
License tagging for File:DPTController.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:DPTController.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:05, 25 November 2014 (UTC)

Deletion pending for File:Steve Goldman headshot.jpg
editHello, Mjschiff. Some time ago, a file you uploaded — File:Steve Goldman headshot.jpg — was tagged with {{OTRS pending}}, indicating that you (or perhaps the copyright holder if you did not create this image) submitted a statement of permission to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. Though there is often a backlog processing messages received at this address, we should have received your message by now.
- If you have not submitted (or forwarded) a statement of permission, please send it immediately to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.
- If you have already sent this message, it is possible that there was a problem receiving it. Please re-send it to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.
If we don't hear from you within one week, the file will be deleted. If we can help you, please feel free to ask at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 15:35, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
Your draft article, Draft:Steve Goldman
editHello, Mjschiff. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "Steve Goldman".
In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Boomer VialHolla! We gonna ball! 08:00, 16 April 2017 (UTC)
The article Why U has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Doesn't meet WP:ORG. The PDF sources don't even mention Why U, they're about some other organization. The ones about Why U are self-published.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Here2rewrite (talk) 16:05, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Why U Logo.svg
editThanks for uploading File:Why U Logo.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:23, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
