Concern regarding Draft:Square du Vert-Galant

Deleted Article cannot be Redone do to being Repurposed

I am attempting to redo a Deleted Article for Jason Steele (animator) that was last attempted in 2007 with improper sourcing, however, there are now several Jason Steeles on Wikipedia, and the page "Jason Steele" has since been repurposed as a redirect to a page with a list of said Jason Steeles, even though it was originally just for a single person (move in Deletion Log listed from 2011). The Jason Steele in question is simply listed on that page with no article.

I do not know how to create a new page for this individual now that it seems to have undergone an entirely different function than what it was at the time of its removal, and any work around I have attempted (deleted article recovery, red text link, article wizard) hits a roadblock because of this relatively unique scenario.

Any suggestion is welcome, but I'm not sure if this is something that can be fixed outside of an administrator role, because I seem to be in a Catch 22.

This isn't as unique as it sounds to you. If you are experienced in creating articles and have no conflict of interest, you can create the article under the title Jason Steele (animator). If you then want to argue that this Jason Steele should be given more prominence over the others to the point that "Jason Steele" is the article about him and not a disambiguation page, that's a separate issue that can be dealt with later. 331dot (talk) 08:00, 17 June 2024 (UTC)

For some reason when I tried this last night it would just direct to the Jason Steele disambiguation page, so I'm not sure what happened, it seems to have fixed itself.

I want to stress that he doesn't have more prominence than the other Jason Steeles, that's not why I was making this, it's about the same amount as the others. The issue I had was that the the original "Jason Steele" page was about the animator, and when it was revived, it turned into the disambiguation page, and I wasn't able to use a new directory.
