Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen, "MediaMark Intl", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website which relates to the entity in question, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or accounts that are shared. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our Conflict of interest guideline and Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Deadbeef 00:38, 9 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the help Deadbeef. As a newcomer to Wikipedia, I didn't realize that the use of a company name as a user name was prohibited. I started MediaMark Intl as an LLC a little over 1yr ago without knowing yet how I wanted to use it. It is nothing more than a shell of a company at the moment with no foreseeable plan in the immediate future. While browsing Wikipedia earlier today, I thought a good idea would possibly be to use it for education purposes in the meantime, educating other people about the advertising, marketing, and media industry where possible. After reading through the wiki policies further just now, I have a much greater understanding of the parameters with which I can work so hopefully it is smoother sailing moving forward. Thanks again for the patience and help here from the start as I try my best with learning the "Wikiway". I hope to be a tremendous asset for those seeking facts around marketing, media, and advertising through Wikipedia in the near future. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything else you find needs adjustments and I'll be happy to make. I recently sent a request to change the account name to JM at MediaMark Intl so if that still doesn't comply, I am certainly open to other recommendations that do. Talk soon. Glad to see you're open and willing to comply with policy. I'll put a template below this message with a bunch of links in it that you can use for reference if you want to learn more. If you need help with anything else, just shoot me a message on my talk page or ask it at the Help Desk. Welcome aboard! Deadbeef 02:13, 9 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
