Hello, I'm David.moreno72. I noticed that you made a change to an article, William E. "Bill" Thornton, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. David.moreno72 (talk) 14:10, 5 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

I am confused and lost!

I cannot find my page.

I cannot converse on my User talk:Mayorsat page.

I'm not the smartest man in the world but I'm also not the dumbest.

I feel completely helpless and unable to get my page corrected and back up.

William Elt "Bill" Thornton

Your user page is User:Mayorsat. It currently has nothing on it, but you should be able to edit it and type something there.
This page is your talk page, User talk:Mayorsat. You clearly can converse on it, you have just done so.
You may also be concerned with an article, William E. "Bill" Thornton, about a politician. Maproom (talk) 23:26, 5 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi Mayorsat, please don't continue to add an unsourced resume to a Wikipedia article. It's not acceptable for an encyclopedic entry. All content requires reliable sources, per WP:RELIABLE. Also, perhaps you've already been advised of our guidelines at WP:COI. If you have suggestions for changes in an article about you, please use the article talk page to discuss them. Thank you, 2601:188:1:AEA0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 00:19, 6 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

You should review Wikipedia's guidelines concerning autobiographies at Wikipedia:Autobiography. There is a general consensus that someone who is the subject of an article is discouraged from editing the article directly. Instead, you should propose changes on the article's talk page for an uninvolved editor to review. It is considered acceptable for you to remove simple and clear-cut vandalism yourself, but you should leave a note on the talk page as well. --Drm310 (talk) 14:57, 6 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
