Thanks for your addition of the Hayter portrait but as you will see from the talkpage the Ferens Gallery (as well as WP editors) doubt that its attribution. It's best to leave it off the page for now. Slp1 (talk) 12:47, 26 February 2013 (UTC)

It says there at the end of the second paragraph that "His father was born at the family home Shugborough Hall in Staffordshire. He married Mary Anne Levett, only daughter of Reverend Richard Levett and Louisa Frances (Bagot) of Milford Hall, Staffordshire.[4]" And note 4 says the evidence is in the note on the back of the photo (of unknown date or provenance or indeed accuracy). It may be that it is true what it says you have just jumped onto a wrong link.
Now the trouble is just this: Rev Fred Anson (you say) was born 1811. Louisa Frances (Bagot) married Rev Richard Levett 16 January 1804. You are saying Louisa's daughter was a mother in 1811. Something does not add up or my information is incorrect. Please would you explain it to me.
I think Fred Anson's parents (Dr Fred and Anne Levett) married at Little Missenden Buckinghamshire on 2 May 1807. Maybe her mother was a Lucy Byrd? Maybe someone quite different?

Thanks to the contributions of our many members and supporters, WP:YORKS has become a leading local British WikiProject in terms of the total number of articles supported (up from 10,977 last month to 11,049 on March 30th). In the area of GAs WP:YORKS at 108 is ahead of WP:GM who have 81. WP:GM has the lead in FAs at 57 out of a total number of 3,321 articles.
Currently we have thirty two Yorkshire featured articles:
The number has been kept deliberately low to give us a fighting chance of improving them to at least GA status, also so we can concentrate our efforts on these first.

The April 2014 articles selected below are an editor choice as there were no further suggestions from the project talk page.
The project is subscribed to a clean-up listing which lists articles tagged with various clean-up tags that need attention. The listing is refreshed by a bot on a regular basis.
Monitoring is essential Use the watchlist to keep an eye on changes to the project's articles so that vandalism and spamming can be removed as quickly as possible.
Moves Please be careful when performing articles moves and ensure that you also move all the talk sub-pages and update any image fair use rational. Otherwise the archives, to-do lists, assessment comments and GA reviews get lost and the image may be deleted as it has an incorrect FUR. You will also have to check that the Commons link is set correctly.

Just a reminder to members that the toolserver will have been removed from service by the time you read this newsletter. If your favourite tool is not operating then this may be the reason. Most of the tools have been ported to run on Wikimedia Labs, which is the replacement infrastructure for this type of activity. So have a look round and see if the one you are interested in has been ported or not. If not then get in touch with the person who looks after it and see if it can be ported over.
