Why did I get blocked? I Tried to disable the other account and it would not let me. I am not abusing multiple accounts simply trying to follow the instructions that were given to me which was to create an account that did not have the same name as the subject I was trying to post about. I am simply trying to get a page up about someone I admire I have more sources and articles to reference if that's what the article needs. -M MaraG1994 (talk) 15:16, 5 May 2023 (UTC)

You were blocked at the previous account, and instead of seeking an unblock, you tried to evade the block by creating a new account, which is not permitted, that's why you are blocked here. You would have been blocked anyway, since this is clearly a single purpose account intended only to promote him and his books. Like I said, i tried to delete the other account but it would not let me. I am not intending to promote him and his books I am trying to focus on his community involvement. I did not try to evade any blocks I was told not to have the account have the same name as the article so i made an account under my own name. I was unaware of some policies and was given incorrect information which caused me to open two accounts. I tried to delete one but it would not work. I am not abusing multiple accounts I am trying to use this one only. I am also not trying to promote anyone I am trying to write a page about someone I admire who has made a difference in the community. I would please like to be unblocked so I can try again and hopefully get some constructive critisism this time instead of just being blocked. MaraG1994 (talk) 20:24, 11 May 2023 (UTC)

Decline reason:

It is not possible to delete an account- you should simply stop using and abandon any other accounts you have. Wikipedia has articles, not pages. "Trying to write a page about someone I admire who has made a difference in the community" is considered promotion on Wikipedia. Not everyone who makes a difference in their community merits a Wikipedia article. Wikipedia is only interested in if a subject meets the special Wikipedia definition of notability, as shown with significant coverage in independent reliable sources. Please disclose the other accounts you have used, and tell what edits you will make that aren't related to writing about the individual you wrote about in a new request, I am declining this one. 331dot (talk) 01:39, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
