Welcome!

Hello, Maccaheartney, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!  Tutelary (talk) 17:45, 6 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Sowden House

edit

You keep inserting "Franklin House" as an alternate name on this article. My searches and research find no sources referring to the house in this way. If you have sources, please add them. If none, then I will again be removing this edit. Please reply here or on my talk page if you wish to discuss. Cbl62 (talk) 00:25, 4 August 2014 (UTC) @Maccaheartney: You haven't responded to the inquiry above and haven't added any sourcing for your insertion. If this is not done within a couple more days, I will have to revert the change you made. Cbl62 (talk) 06:56, 13 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Biographies of living persons

edit

Hello. Please review our guidelines regarding biographies of living persons. We cannot call someone a conspiracy theorist unless reliable secondary sources have done so. It seems Nicole Mout has not been mentioned in reliable sources. – Thjarkur (talk) 17:44, 6 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
