Speedy deletion of Olabisi Johnson

The subject is notable in his own right. If a person running for senate in Africa’s most populous nation of over 200million is not prominent enough to be on Wikipedia, you guys probably have a different definition for the word ‘notable’. If Wikipedia only accepts International newspapers as sources, that’s unfair. Some of the sources listed in the article are the largest newspapers in the subject’s home country, Nigeria. I request an undeletion of the article as the deletion smacks of bias that seems to border on racism or even deeper hatred of the subject’s nationality. Lyteon01 (talk) 02:43, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
