Request reason:

Hello. I am asking to please unblock. Lynneuna and Carlosdanna are two separate accounts and people. We were working together on the article Cynthia MacAdams. The draft is in the Carlosdanna Sandbox. Carlosdanna was helping me, Lynneuna with the format of the sourcing material. Therefore, there are the two accounts which belong to two separate poeple. In no way was I attempting to deceive or engage in the sockpuppetry. Contributing to Wikipedia is a learning experience, and I am just beginning. There is no intention to break rules, etc. and more care will betaken in the future. I would like to continue to edit the article and also contribute more to Wikipedia. Please unblock.

Draft of CM's article

edit

IMO, putting back the list of museums owning one or more of her photographs increases the risk of the draft being rejected. Better to have a modest article accepted than an ambitious, perhaps over-stating draft rejected. David notMD (talk) 18:36, 15 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your guidance. I have deleted most of the items, and left only those with defintie reference. Lynneuna (talk) 19:23, 15 March 2018 (UTC) Please have another look if you are ableLynneuna (talk) 19:25, 15 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Smithsonian is one photo - IMO not a valid listing. Tweed was a visiting group show. ditto. Again, my advice is keep the books, stop trying to list museums. David notMD (talk) 19:56, 15 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Ok. Will Do. Will delete the Museums. Thank you.2602:306:33C6:74C0:39A3:FF5F:BFF:78D3 (talk) 21:02, 15 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Regarding the question of COI, I have left messages a couple of times. I do know Cynthia MacAdams. I worked with her on one of her books in the past(1980). Before attempting the article, I was reading Wikipedia bios of Kate Millett, and photographers Mary Ellen Mark and Annie Liebowitz. I became inspired to contribute to Wikipedia with the Cynthia MacAdams article. I beleive she is notable and would be a worthy contribution. As I get to know Wikipedia I am impressed by the work of the editors and the information available. I look forward to contributing. I have done some very minor edits so far. I am eager to successfully publish the Cynthia MacAdams article. Carlosdanna helped me with the formatting of the sources. He has no acquaintance with Cynthia MacAdams. He was merely trying to help me out to learn how to do the references and sources items. I am now getting familiar with this aspect of Wikipedia. I hope this helps to answer your question.Lynneuna (talk) 02:39, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:Robert McClenon, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 19:59, 15 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Meaning you can delete stuff on your own Talk page (although most people archive it after a while if gets too long), but do not change what is on other peoples' Talk pages, even what you wrote. And really do not delete discussions on Talk pages of articles. David notMD (talk) 00:28, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
