Proposed deletion of File:Daily Grind-17Sep06.png

edit

The file File:Daily Grind-17Sep06.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Image of a unnotable topic that has since been deleted. No obvious value in transferring to Commons

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi! You said in chess variants you can help me recreate the three-check chess article. I looked at the original and I think we can use part of that but I want to add more. I think I can enlist a few three-check players to come and help. That's all, thanks! Geekpotato24 (talk) 17:51, 18 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Soapboxing IP

Don't do that again. A semi-literate piece of nonsense pointedly aimed at me is way off the mark. The gibbering nonsense posted is nothing to do with the article's development, as is fairly clear to anyone who isn't trying to score points. Leave it off the talk page and don't be disruptive by supporting trolls. - SchroCat (talk) 09:06, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

So you think it's a good stp to ignore this and edit war? That speaks volumes of your approach, which is not about article development, but point scoring. - SchroCat (talk) 09:16, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
And next time, read TPO: "Comments that are plainly irrelevant are subject to archival or removal." Trolling falls into that bracket - SchroCat (talk) 09:18, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Those comments are relevant. They are clearly about the content of the article, specially regarding how Colston should be described. They are not well worded, but I do not consider them trolling. Deleting these comments is not warrented. Again, as per WP:TPO you should stop if there is any objection. and I, another editor am objecting. Such a policy isn't neutered if you disagree with both other editors involved. --LukeSurl t c 09:25, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Fuck me! You think Colston's toenails and the "Confederate cause" are relevant?? See WP:TALK#USE which means I'm within the guidelines to archive or delete. Your decision to edit war on reposting semi-literate trolling is dubious. - SchroCat (talk) 09:29, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

On 12 August 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article A Surge of Power (Jen Reid) 2020, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the statue A Surge of Power (Jen Reid) 2020 was inspired by a raised fist at a Black Lives Matter protest? You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, A Surge of Power (Jen Reid) 2020), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
