Paraphrasing

edit

Hi there! I'm Kevin, a campus ambassador for the City and Regional Planning course you're currently taking. I noticed you recently added content to User:Luckenbach.3/sandbox. Great start, though I also noticed that the addition reads very closely to the provided source, and this counts as close paraphrasing. When writing, be sure to add content written in your own words. This section provides some tips on how to write without close paraphrasing. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 16:56, 12 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Peer Review of Westgate

edit

The article of Westgate provided a good variety of a foundation of information for the neighborhood from history to the housing market. I think the information presented needs to be expanded upon and researched into more deeply. Were there any important figures in the history of the neighborhood? Were there any important dates regarding the establishment of the neighborhood?

The information then should be put into sections and headings that organize the variety of information presented rather than just having everything in the first section that should act as more of a general introductory section.

Also, the page needs citations and references to be added to cite where your information is coming from with a references section at the bottom.

Great job of linking to other wikipedia pages though.

Notes from the class editor: Good job adding the needed citations, however, I feel like your article is still missing a large chunk of information, such as the current status of the neighborhood, demographics, geography and more pictures. Kowalski.118 (talk) 12:23, 9 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
