May 2014 edit

Hello, I'm CR4ZE. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Grand Theft Auto V, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. If you feel the game fits within the dark comedy genre, please reference the fact directly with a reliable source. Thanks, CR4ZE (tc) 04:50, 5 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Legendary Pictures edits edit

Hi Longshot45, I undid your recent edits to Legendary Pictures and I wanted to explain why. Before I get into it, however, I want to say that I'm open to discussing the format of the filmography section and hope you share any concerns with me. That being said, there are three aspects of your recent revisions with which I object.

The first is the collapsing of the rows under the "Year" column. The years are sorted such that the first film released in a given year sorts before a later film from the same year, even if the first film would alphabetically sort later. To demonstrate, under your revision, if you click the sort icon for the "Title" column and then click the sort icon under the "Year" column, the films will no longer be chronologically sorted, but instead be alphabetized for each given year (i.e. for 2006, "Ant Bully" would be before "Superman Returns", even though the latter was released first).

The second issue is more about aesthetic rather than function. Specifically, I'm of the opinion that the "Distributor(s)" column shouldn't have the rows consolidated because it creates rather large and unsightly blocks amid rows otherwise populated with single cells.

The last issue, which is the most minor, is that for the sake of brevity an uniformity that the "Distributor(s)" column be omitted from the "In production" section. Additionally, at times the number of companies involved with a film are not finalized until around the release date and I don't want the list to give the impression that it is final or comprehensive as to all entries when it may not be. If you have any concerns, feel free to contact me on my talk page or post a response here. I'm looking forward to discussing the matter and collaborating with you in the future! – Zntrip 05:30, 5 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Re: Amazing Spider-Man universe edit

Hi Longshot45! The page looks good, as does the DC Cinematic Universe one. However, I think it might be too early to actually make articles for both. Wikipedia:Notability (films) requires that a future film must at least be in principle photography for an article about it to exist. Since for both the Spider-Man and DC cinematic universes most of the films haven't started filming yet, I think that you might have to hold on to the pages for a bit before making articles. – Zntrip 00:52, 9 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

DoRD edit

DoRD, This account is not a sockpuppet account I put in my categories that it is an alternate account. Please unblock me I haven't gotten into any edit conflicts at all. I don't see why its necessary to block me for no apparent reason. I filled in the requirements so please unblock me being Longshot45 has taught me to become a better user. I haven't used my other account in months. Please thank you. - Longshot45

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for evading a block placed on your main account TreCoolGuy less than a month after being blocked indefinitely for sockpuppetry and vandalism. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Atama 17:21, 13 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I understand that you disclosed this as an alternate account. But it is still block evasion. If you are sincere, go back to TreCoolGuy and make a request for unblock from there. Creating a new account to shed yourself of a block log is not allowed, nor are you able to make a clean start considering everything you did on your old account and how recently you were blocked. -- Atama 17:21, 13 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
