Benghazi edit

What article does it duplicate? This is major event, and it deserves an article.--Arbutus the tree (talk) 20:45, 8 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please check Libyan Civil War (2014–present). That article has already covered the topic. Isn't it? Happiest persoN (talk) 20:50, 8 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Allright then. Article should be deleted. There must be some notable article in this conflict, however. And this article refers to the fighting in october, not may--Arbutus the tree (talk) 21:19, 8 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
I suggest you to check the article thoroughly. It has covered all the conflicts of Benghazi from May to present including October, November, December and January. Happiest persoN (talk) 21:39, 8 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for January 23 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Bangladeshi films of 1972, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alamgir Kabir. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Shaheed M MONSUR Ali Medical College or Shaheed M MANSUR Ali Medical College? edit

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaheed_M_Mansur_Ali_Medical_College The title name is wrong here. This is "Monsur" not "Mansur".What I am trying to say is,the name of the medical college is "Shaheed M MONSUR Ali Medical College" not "Shaheed M MANSUR Ali Medical College".I know what I am doing.Next time don't revert the edits.Thanks..... — Preceding unsigned comment added by TrxBoy (talkcontribs) 19:56, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Dear TrxBoy, thanks for your message. Your edits were reverted for a reason. Don't take it personally. In wikipedia, you can't just put your personal opinion, you have to prove it from reliable sources. I have researched a lot during adding complete information about the medical colleges in Bangladesh.
  • Please check this link, [1] It's the organization registry of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare where it is written , "Shaheed M, Mansur Ali Medical College"
  • Check the spelling of M Mansur Ali in Banglapedia [2] and in Wikipedia [3]
  • Also check in the newspaper. [4]

Let me know you have any question. I will gladly answer you. Thanks Happiest persoN (talk) 20:09, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

The name hase been changed from "Mansur" to "Monsur".I am a student of that college. If you are eager then ypu may contact me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TrxBoy (talkcontribs) 20:14, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Our Principal sir confirmed that the name is Monsur not Mansur. Even in the the third migration form, the name has been change from Mansur to Monsur. I don't know why they changed it,I liked the MANSUR better.
As i said, you have to prove it from reliable sources like newspaper, official medical college website etc. Thanks Happiest persoN (talk) 20:18, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
I can give you the phone number of our principal sir tomorrow. You can ask him personally.I don't think any other source knows better than the college principal.I don't know whether you are a Bangladeshi or not.Even we students were confused about the name.Do you want the phone number???? You can verify the phone number by yourself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TrxBoy (talkcontribs) 20:25, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
http://www.bssnews.net/newsDetails.php?cat=0&id=428727&date=2014-08-07 Here is a source.......... — Preceding unsigned comment added by TrxBoy (talkcontribs) 20:32, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
TrxBoy, thanks for your message. But actually wikipedia doesn't work that way. And also thanks for the source. And remember you don't have to cut-paste from an existing article and create a new article with that. There is an option "Move" at the upper right section of an article. You can move an article to a new title with that. I have already move it the new title. Thanks Happiest persoN (talk) 20:40, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
You have even edited Dhaka Medical College.I assume that you are Bangladeshi and have enough knowledge about medical colleges in Bangladesh. Shaheed M Monsur Ali Medical College is a new medical college and we are the 1st batch of this college. So you have to give us rights to edit this page.I will even include the names of our Anatomy,Physiology & Biochemistry teachers in future. But the way you are reverting my edits, I am afraid that it would do any better.Thanks....... — Preceding unsigned comment added by TrxBoy (talkcontribs) 20:59, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
This is the phone number of Principal's Office : 0751-XXXXX....Verify the name yourself.Call during the office hour.... — Preceding unsigned comment added by TrxBoy (talkcontribs) 21:11, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Dear TrxBoy, Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia where anyone can edit and it's nobody's personal property for reserve the right to edit or something else. But to edit in Wikipedia you must follow wiki guidelines and policies and you might not read them. I have only reverted your edits where you violate it. You have blanked several texts in different articles without showing reason which indicates vandalism. I am sorry if that that hurts you. And yeah, i am Bangladeshi and not only DMC, i have contributed in all of the articles related medicine and medical colleges in Bangladesh. I mentioned earlier, i have researched a lot on medical colleges. And i will suggest to remove the phone number, i said it earlier, that's not the way wikipedia works and that's not needed too as the title is already moved to "Shaheed M Monsur Ali Medical College" Finally I will suggest to you read WP:UNIGUIDE before editing furthur. Good luck! Happiest persoN (talk) 21:20, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
About other edits....this is my new account, I have opened it yesterday.I was trying to move a page/article,but the conditions were that I had to edit minimum 10 articles and my account should be at-least 10 days old (I may be wrong).....that's why I randomly edited some articles.....Nothing personal.....Newspaper isn't a reliable source you know. On the 10th January, Prothom Alo reported on their front page that the class room of Jamalpur Medical College is tin shed but it was indeed a building. I know this because i have migrated from that college. Which source are you looking for??? I have contacted with our principal sir, with other students as well. And you have given me a link of DGHS Apps. In that page "Sirajganj" district was typed as "Serajganj" http://app.dghs.gov.bd/orgregistry/org_profile.php?org_code=10019208 May I ask why are you using "Sirajganj" instead of "Serajganj" ??? As you have mentioned "Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia where anyone can edit and it's nobody's personal property for reserve the right to edit or something else" it doesn't mean that you can create any article about me and then try to change it because I know that wrong information was given about me in that article but you reverted it as I could't show you the sources!!!!!!!.....just saying.....I have another request to you......Keep the name MANSUR for some days.....and let me edit inside of the article.....When I have enough sources to show you, I will change the name from Mansur to Monsur.....And next time please don't revert any article changes which is done only inside...I was just looking for my own college.....I don't have any interest about other institutes......thanks....And don't take anything personally. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TrxBoy (talkcontribs) 06:58, 27 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Dear TrxBoy, you are arguing with me for no reason. I have already explained why i have reverted your edits you made and i understand, you are angry for it. But i haven't done anything personal. You are welcome to edit anywhere in wiki. But you have to follow the wiki rules and regulations. I am giving you all the answers. 1. Yes, for new account, you have to do at least 10 edits for moving an article to a new title. But the account doesn't have to 10 days old. 2. Wikipedia seeks reliable for sources for the content of an article. and the article must not contain any original research. please see Wikipedia:No original research. 3. Please check, [5] the district name written in the organization registry and the government website [6] and banglapedia [7]. "Sirajganj" is written everywhere. 4. I don't understand why are you still arguing where "Mansur" is already moved to "Monsur" as per your request. I am telling you again, it's nothing personal. It's about wikipedia policies and guideline. You are welcome to continue edits. Let me know if you have anything to know i will gladly answer you. Goodluck! Happiest persoN (talk) 08:01, 27 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
By the way...thanks for your reply.....I am not arguing with you.....And I am not even angry.....Next time if I edit any article, I will try to present as many sources as possible......Take care bro....... — Preceding unsigned comment added by TrxBoy (talkcontribs) 08:16, 27 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
You are welcome TrxBoy and upload a logo of the medical college if possible. You will find the upload wizard here [8] Thanks. Happiest persoN (talk) 08:26, 27 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Logo isn't available right now as this is a new medical college. But I will include logo when it is available. Thanks for your co-operation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TrxBoy (talkcontribs) 08:32, 27 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Geniac. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate.
