Paul 'Smiler' Anderson moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Paul 'Smiler' Anderson, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. — Newslinger talk 04:31, 12 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello @Newslinger - I'm somewhat surprised that you feel the article doesn't contain enough references as there are plenty already incuded. Could you be more specific? Lloydmayer (talk) 07:36, 12 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Mods: The New Religion edit

Hi, Lloydmayer. In case you didn't see my last reply, I'm copying it here for your convenience:

Hey Lloydmayer, I just did some research on Anderson. Although I didn't immediately find enough qualifying sources for Anderson himself, I found this GQ article and this Louder Sound article that should make Anderson's book, Mods: The New Religion, qualify for an article. You can then create a redirect from Paul 'Smiler' Anderson to Mods: The New Religion, and include some background information on Anderson in the article on his book. Is this plan something that would work for you? — Newslinger talk 13:27, 12 July 2019 (UTC)

— Newslinger talk 20:41, 12 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello Newslinger, thanks for taking the time to research Paul Anderson and for adding your comments here, I appreciate your efforts. Regret I don't have time to construct another article just now, I'll leave it for someone else to have the enjoyment of doing that! Warm wishes, Lloydmayer (talk) 20:56, 12 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello Newslinger, further to our correspondence from July, I have resubmitted the article with a reliable and independent secondary source - the BBC. The article is well referenced and I ask that you allow it to remain published for other users to add to the content. Though you may not have heard of him previously, Anderson is known to many and is an authority figure on music, style and culture. As you will now be aware from the article, he is a published author of five books; he has written sleeve notes for records; he broadcasts regularly and is interviewed for newspapers, magazines and BBC radio.

July 2019 edit

Hello, I'm SovalValtos. SovalValtos (talk) 03:10, 14 July 2019 (UTC) Hello SovalValtos, yes, we've met already. I very rarely see references for notable people added to places; more often, it's just local knowledge. You seem to be following me; I'm flattered, but also slightly disturbed by your zeal. Do you get excited when you look to see what I've contributed to Wiki? I'm also quite concerned by the time stamps on your edits - 03:10 is not a respectable time, are you getting enough sleep? Here's an article for you: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-48972243 Enjoy your Sunday, Lloyd xReply
