{{{helpme}} {{adminhelp}}

Hello, I have kindly been adopted by A Nobody. Per his suggestion I would like to post a to see if an admin will please userfy the deleted Immunocal article for me, so we can work on it together, and see if we can get the page up to community standards. Thank you in advance for your help! LivingWell4U (talk) 03:37, 21 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello LivingWell4U. Only an admin can userfy a page. So admins are aware of your help request, I have slightly changed the template. BrianY (talk) 03:48, 21 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, BrianY. Much appreciated. Not sure why my text runs all over the place! Still figuring all of this out...

LivingWell4U (talk) 03:50, 21 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have fixed that as well. Keep the adminhelp and helpme tags above your comment, not in the middle of it. Thanks. BrianY (talk) 03:55, 21 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Just noting that I endorse LivingWell4U's request and am willing to help this user anyway I can with the page as well. Best, --A NobodyMy talk 03:52, 21 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your username

edit

If you are (and it seems likely) associated with http://www.livingwell4u.com/, you should probably change your username as it seems to be promotional in nature. See Wikipedia:Username policy#Company/group names. and Wikipedia:Username policy#Changing your username.  pablohablo. 22:39, 25 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, Pablo. I am not associated with that website and don't know who that is. Thanks for the heads up!
LivingWell4U (talk) 22:35, 26 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Hi. It really does not matter whether you are associated with that website or not. The policy states:
  • Explicit use of a name or url of a company, group or product as a username is not permitted.
Your user name matches the above site and, intentional or not, creates the impression that you are associated with it. Wikipedia:Changing username, please. Sincerely, Jack Merridew 01:47, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, Pablo, and Jack, I appreciate what you say and agree that my username matches an existing domain. I appreciate your bringing this to my attention, and you will see a username request has been put in at the bottom of the page you suggested. I made sure that that my requested name.com does not exist, and the name is not currently in use before requesting. Thanks again to you both for your help.

Cheers, LivingWell4U (talk) 03:30, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • I see you're renamed. That's good. However, you have managed to re-create your old account. That's bad. You should log-out of LivingWell4U and then log-in to Serendipity81 (password is the same). The old account will end up blocked. Also, be sure your browser forgets your old account and you should probably unify this account as you did the other one. See your preferences. Sincerely, Jack Merridew 05:20, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Jack,

Please bear with me as I have no idea what most of all of this means. Did I do what you asked correctly?

Serendipity81 (talk) 05:55, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

You seem to be editing with your renamed account, now. There are currently four edits you made with a re-creation of you old account due to not having switched to your new name. These will not be transferred to your new account. You seem to have unified your new account, too. You should have a Steward globally block the old name; you automatically created several account simply by visiting other projects. I recommend Larry; he's friendly and can sort the remaining mess out for you. I also left Matt and note about this; he's the Bureaucrat who renamed you. Sincerely, Jack Merridew 06:22, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Jack,

Thank you very much. This is all quite confusing-Wikipedia definitely has its own language. I will do what you ask, and hopefully I will be bilingual sometime soon!

Cheers,

As Halloween is my favorite holiday, I just wanted to wish those Wikipedians who have been nice enough to give me a barnstar or smile at me, supportive enough to agree with me, etc., a Happy Halloween! Sincerely, --A NobodyMy talk 23:44, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Immunocal

edit

Hi. I notice that the article, Immunocal was moved out of the encyclopedia and into your user space. If you don't object, I would like to move this article to the Wikipedia:Article Incubator, a new project that helps develop articles up to Wikipedia standards without the articles being threatened by deletion.

What I'm proposing is this: I will move User:Serendipity81/Immunocal to Wikipedia:Article Incubator/Immunocal. In that location, it will be brought to the attention of many editors who can help improve it so that we'll be able to move it back into the proper encyclopedia soon.

Please let me know if you object to this for any reason, or if you have any questions or concerns. In the meantime, I am going to go ahead and move your user space article to the incubator. Thanks for your contributions. ThaddeusB (talk) 01:55, 1 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
