  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

Sep 2010 the 2nd Spam warning

edit

This seems to be a spam account for promotong Tiffany Snow and may need to be blocked if this continues, e.g. Efficacy of prayer and elsewhere spam for her. History2007 (talk) 07:50, 4 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

In her book Forward From the Mind - Distant Healing, Bilocation, Medical Intuition & Prayer in a Quantum World [1] Tiffany Snow claims that healing, even by distance, is a way of spontaneous nonlocal entrainment and resonance that occurs with a transfer of energy from one system to another until both are oscillating at the same frequency, between the human mind and the Divine mind, "connection in prayer" wherein healing can occur. As evidence, the book refers to various quantum mechanic studies, and statistics of a personal preliminary study reviewed by Dr. Bruce Greyson and examples published in the International Journal of Healing and Caring such as RECOGNIZING THE DEFINING MOMENT:"Expecting the Miracle through Client/Healer Resonance" - May 2005 Issue

Above was deleted! So would one say that this should be deleted because of "spam" for Tiffany Snow, whereas this also cites Dr. Bruce Greyson and Dr. Dan Benor? Or would one say their names are being "spammed" too? All of this is important information.

It is not just that page, but spam mixture now, but you have been spamming her all over the place, including Near death experience etc. This seems to be a Wikipedia:Single-purpose account to promote Tiffany Snow, in one place or another, one way or another. History2007 (talk) 08:39, 4 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

So what about the link I put in for Father Billy Clark and his deliverance ministry? If I add his information to other places, is that going to be spam too? This is so unfair. I have specific interests in demonology, stigmata, near-death experiences, healing, and music. So I have studied much and there is a lot of information I can add, but why should I? Some of my favorite reads and people I have communicated with and heard talk, some I have even met, I can't write about if I use their information more than once? I am citing TV, magazines, books, websites. What more do you want?

Please also read WP:Fringe and WP:Reliable. This is spam anyway, and fringe spam at that. History2007 (talk) 09:08, 4 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

so you are saying that even citing an article from an academic magazine, (The IJHC) with Over 25 Experts on the Editorial Panel, that information is still considered spam? Reliable source for sure, and what may be considered "fringe" to some is just opinion. And who is to say that one person's opinion should be everyones? It seems like that is what I am up against here. Don't bit the newbie, right? You took all my hard work down.

My first clue was that you had the rights to the phots, then saw the other additions, and then all roads led to Tiffany. This is Fringe spam. History2007 (talk) 09:29, 4 September 2010 (UTC) I took the photos. I get the newsletter, I have helped her with her conventions. She is one of only a few stigmatics in the world. I have worked with other people too, and want to put their information up. If you give me a chance, you will see all roads also lead to my other focuses, as I have said before. Dr. Bruce Greyson should have more things on here, without him, there would probably be no IANDS or organization about near-death experiences, he basically started it. And has been working for over 30 years on research and putting out papers that would link to a lot of articles on Wiki. I personally know him too, and some little known TV shows and things he has done. What about Larry Dossey? Another powerful person and author, who has put prayer on the map to go beyond religion. On XM radio and interview Oprah had with Larry Dossey M.D. re: the power of prayer and how this is being taught at 90 or so medical schools, don't you think putting some information in on him (maybe even a bio page) is beneficial? A lot of the stuff I am interested in means I follow it well, and want to share it. There is a lot of information out there that might not be considered science yet, but if I start to put links in for people, you get worried? Am I just to put in one piece of info per person and then skip to another? I like to see things through, focus on one topic/person, then move to another. You let me know if this will work, skip, skip, skip around so nothing is worrisome. I have time to do a lot of good writing for you right now. Take advantage of it.Reply
