上海当代艺术博物馆 edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of 上海当代艺术博物馆, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://powerstationofart.com/en/page/detail/340cq.html.

It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. February 2016 edit

  Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as 上海当代艺术博物馆, to Wikipedia, as doing so is not in accordance with our policies. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Wikipedia:Your first article; you might also consider using the Article Wizard. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Bazj (talk) 18:38, 20 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Shanghai Biennale. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. I'm from Shanghai biennale office. What can I do? edit

what can I do? Lenon2 (talk) 19:44, 20 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

  1. Contribute in English, not in Chinese.
  2. Observe copyright. Stop copying text from other websites into Wikipedia, even if they're your own websites.
  3. Read the guidance on conflicts of interest. (I'll add the cautionary notice for you in a minute) If you must edit articles about the Shanghai biennale use EXTREME caution.
  4. Improve the already existing article Power Station of Art rather than creating new copies of it.
I hope that helps, Bazj (talk) 21:35, 20 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Lenon2. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Shanghai Biennale, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. As I mentioned above, this is the official guidance to exercise caution where you have a conflict of interest. Bazj (talk) 21:38, 20 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
