Hi there. It has been reported on Greek Television. Ithakiboy (talk) 19:01, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

It was on all the channels as breaking news. Should you watch the midnight news, it will definitely make headlines. Ithakiboy (talk) 19:12, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. --Lemur12 (talk) 19:14, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pinna (genus) edit

I removed the image because it appears to be of a univalve species and not one within the subject genus. For comparison, here is an image of P. nobilis: [1] Mangoe (talk) 05:12, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Lemur about creature edit

Hi Lemur, Thanks for contacting me. Is this the only photo you have or do you have others? To me this looks like a hermit crab in a borrowed shell. The shell that the hermit crab is in, is a marine gastropod shell of some sort. However the shell is broken at both end, and you can't see the aperture because the crab is in the way, so it is really hard to guess at what kind of gastropod shell it is. Also I don't know how large it is: was the shell very small, like 15 mm or 10 mm? It would be a wild guess on my part, but maybe the shell is is broken one of a Cerithium species. I am going away today and back on Sept 13th so I won't be able to "talk" much about this for a while. Best to you, Invertzoo (talk) 12:52, 28 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I see that we don't have an article about Cerithium yet, but we do have one about the family Cerithiidae. By the way, hermit crabs are very common, and they use the shells of all kinds of marine gastropods. I myself have seen the Pinna crab and it only lives inside the Pinna shell, a large marine bivalve. They two kinds of crab are not the same thing at all. Best wishes, Invertzoo (talk) 12:58, 28 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi again Lemur, I hope your trip to the UK is going well. I am still away, but I accessed a computer anyway. I wanted to let you know that I changed the description on the image, but I will leave it to you to change the title and the category. By the way, I wanted to say that species of hermit crabs are very common indeed in almost all parts of the world. Invertzoo (talk) 16:49, 7 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi Lemur, Nice to hear from you. I did change the description, that's all. I wish I knew how to change the actual title of the image, but I don't know how, do you? Perhaps you could call it: "Hermit crab from Greece". Best to you, Invertzoo (talk) 23:27, 21 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Talk:Andry Rajoelina edit

Hi, this is just to let you know that I've removed the unhelpful (originally derogatory) comment you responded to on Talk:Andry Rajoelina as per WP:TALK. You may wish to remove your response as well, which, despite being good general advice, now looks sort of odd by itself (especially because of the link to gook). -kotra (talk) 22:24, 19 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

"Advertising the BBC" edit

I do not wish to advertise the BBC, I simply know my way round that site better than some of its American counterparts. I am a regular contributor to ITN and P:CE on the English Wikipedia and it is simply convenient to leave the stories at P:CE, trusting that there are usually others there who update that anyway. It has clearly been lacking contributions in the past few days. However, if you view the contributions as bad or even as vandalism I will refrain from doing so. I am not intent on causing harm or upset and will avoid this area in future. --candlewicke 20:49, 17 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think you are missing my point but I hope we can agree to disagree since you have done precisely what I hoped to encourage. --candlewicke 21:44, 17 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Overlinking edit

Hi, thanks for your work. Please note that en.WP doesn't normally link years, dates, and common terms. Tony (talk) 14:32, 27 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Deaths in 2017 edit

Hi! Just to let you know, I reverted your edit to Deaths in 2017, which I think was probably an accident since it was in Greek rather than English. Marianna251TALK 00:09, 5 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • That's right. Thanks for this action and sorry for the trouble. --Lemur12 (talk) 00:11, 5 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
