Yeah, we haven't spoken for a long time and I didn't know what to say, especially after "...you know..." To be honest, all those socks were my very first accounts on Wikipedia (circa 2008), and actually there's still one more account that did not detected. Good :) Yes, that's a phenomenal album. But, talking about her greatest album, according to Sal Cinquemani M's fans are split between two camps: Like a Prayer or Ray of Light. Hey Lego, do you have access to the Italian magazine Musica e Dischi? Also, does Billboard.biz say anything about Whitney's "How Will I Know"'s peak on Eurochart Hot 100 singles? Btw, I noticed that you have noted the publisher for the Italian Chart link for "Cherish" as FIMI. But, FIMI was formed in 1992, right? So, I think Musica e Dischi published that peak. Thanks! Madonna Singles

Hi, how are you doing? I was wondering why you reverted my edit to Madonna singles discography. I added in the tracks in "Other appearances". I was wondering why they are not relevant as they do appear on Madonna single releases? I am totally aware that is not a "Songography" as you put it, but I do think that these tracks have significance in her singles discography as they only appear on some releases and most users would not be aware of their existence. The other songs listed in the same section aren't even singles and only appear on compilation albums/soundtracks. Jwad, most of them are for the single articles and not here. Things like remixes, bonus tracks, and other versions are not independent releases from the main single and have no point in here. WikiCup 2011 September newsletter

We are on this year's home straight, with less than a month to go until the winner of the 2011 WikiCup will be decided. The fight for first place is currently being contested by Miyagawa (submissions), Hurricanehink (submissions) and Sp33dyphil (submissions), all of whom have over 200 points. This round has already seen multiple featured articles (1991 Atlantic hurricane season from Hurricanehink and Northrop YF-23 from Sp33dyphil) and a double-scoring featured list (Miyagawa's 1948 Summer Olympics medal table). The scores will likely increase far further before the end of the round on October 31 as everyone ups their pace. There is not much more to say- thoughts about next year's competition are welcome on the WikiCup talk page or the scoring talk page, and signups will open once a few things have been sorted out.

So MJ's trial has rolled out

I'm not sure if it's getting much news coverage where you live, but here in NY it's quite a popular topic. I was so annoyed to see The Daily News call him "Jacko" on the front page. If they 'need to save space' can't they just call him MJ, which doesn't have a convenient insult in it. What's your take on this whole thing? IMO, I love MJ, but I think that him and Murray are both to blame and that the latter is a bit of a scapegoat. Michael wanted the drugs, asked for the drugs, and had no problem with them being administered. Likely, this has been going on for years and years. Had it not been Murray, it would have been someone else. But that doesn't make the doctor anymore innocent in my eyes either. Murray took an oath that he would use his license to help people. Not drug 'em up! I understand that he was in a tight spot money-wise, but at the end of the day he knew damn well anything he did to 'help' MJ would only be hurting him. Sure, his addiction would be calmed, but for how long? He was going to get another urge/need soon enough. What needed to be done was kick MJ's but out in front of a rehab and drive away quick (Lindsay + enablers, are 'ya listening?!). I've heard that there has been videos from the trial showing MJ slurring his words (I found it too tasteless to watch). Those are suppose to be in Murray's favor, but if anything it only makes him worse to me: this 'doctor' saw first hand how the drugs were hurting him and cause him to not even function properly, and yet he kept giving it to him with no regard for his body solely for the all mighty dollar. It's a sad situation for all around, as his kids lost basically their only parent and have to live with doormat Katherine and the stress this has brought Murray more than likely outweighed the money he was being paid. Final verdict: Had MJ not have been dependent on drugs in the first place, he wouldn't have died. He brought his death upon himself..... Murray knowingly broke his doctor's code and wrote up false prescriptions. I don't think Murray should go to jail, but that doctor's lisence of his needs to disappear, fast, as it's clear that once he's in a jammer again history might repeat itself.

On a lighter subject, my 16th birthday is tomorrow =D. But it'll only be a happy birthday! greeting with a few people just coming over to talk. My actual birthday party isn't for a few months o-0. We went to a restaurant where they treated me to a ig cake (embarassing) and then later I took them out for a movie and bowling. This trial is so upsetting. I'm not 100% sure of every fact in the trail, but even if he did want (or need) the drugs (and took too much, or whatever) Murray let him. He was being paid like, what, $4 million to go on the tour with him? You don't leave his side for a damn second. Do I think he intentionally tried to kill him? No, of course not; but it definitely looks like negligence on his part. Why the hell was Murray going to hire a second doctor? That alone, annoys me.

That's what I was trying to tell my mom! She thought that all the blame should be shifted to MJ, when in truth Murray deserves at least half the blame. After all, MJ isn't the one who took an oath to always help others as much as legally possible. Had the doctor done his job, he wouldn't be the one on trial right now. IKR? He was getting paid 150,000 a month, the least he coud do is spend a few hours of his precious time to make sure everything was goes right. I too think it was a mistake, after all, why would anyone kill their piggybank...

Ugh Sony. They'll never stop trying to make a dime off of him. It's honestly really sad that in life the people around him milked him until their was nothing left and even in death his own father is fighting for whatever he can get from a will that he was clearly not included in. "Secret" is definitely a favorite. Actually the whole of Bedtime Stories is. Ray of Light is just amazing. Mags you should also try Like a Prayer. Remix Album Art SHOULD BE POSTED

These are all official images that can clearly be seen on iTunes. If they are missing some copyright information, find it yourself and post them. Remix album art is clearly considered an alternate cover and should posted on a basic Wikipedia page. GaGa releases Remixes with every accompanying single release and those album covers deserve to be shown as Alternate Covers on her pages. Please fix this. My name is Victor Grigas, and I'm a storyteller at the Wikimedia foundation. We're telling stories of Wikipedia users, editors, donors, programmers and staff to paint a picture of who uses Wikipedia - for the 2011 fundraiser.

I am in the process of planning a trip to India to gather stories from Indian Wikipedians in face-to-face interviews (possibly on video).

My primary goal is to conduct 15-20 interviews, and hopefully enough of my interviews will make compelling stories that will effectively solicit donations from the public. These stories may also be used for other communication purposes by the foundation.

Hello Karthik, nice to know you. Yes I know about you. Actually the problem with the images are that they are all right aligned. Ideally, images should look towards the article and not away from it and should alternate between left and right alignment wherever possible. Take a case of the article Madonna, a FA where this has been arranged per MOS:IMAGES. Karthik, I did the alignment, but I do feel that some of those quote boxes could also be aligned to be in precision with the images. As for the article, it is GA material most definitely, so submit it after the film runs out off theaters. As for FA, not quite yet. One of the biggest criteria of FAC is prose, where in this might fail. Hello Legolas. Sure thing, I can change the photo alignment. Actually, I had always wanted an alternating arrangement and the article previously did have that sort of arrangement. However, a peer reviewer said that all images must be at the right. Frankly, I haven't put the time yet to fully read MOS:Film, and have never heard of MOS:Images :D. However previous consensus was for it being a promotional single, hence I never went against it.
