edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Dell Schanze has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://superdellcensorship.blogspot.com/ (matching the regex rule \bblog(?:cu|fa|harbor|mybrain|post|savy|spot|townhall)?\.com\b). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 01:14, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dell Schanze

edit

Please stop adding advertising or inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Dell Schanze. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. -WarthogDemon 19:33, 16 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

The blog and other links are not acceptable sources. Please see WP:SOURCES. -WarthogDemon 19:41, 16 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I did not remove that link this time. Only the blog. -WarthogDemon 15:02, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Forgive me, I should have clarified. I double checked with another editor and the county jail page is indeed a valid link as you said, so I've not removed that. The only link I have removed was some parachuting website and a personal blog, those aren't acceptable sources, unlike the jail page which is. Sorry for any confusion in my past messages. Cheers. -WarthogDemon 20:10, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Regarding your edits on Dell Schanze: on the contrary, because it is a page he has written himself, the information found on it is not reliable. Please see WP:VERIFY and WP:SOURCES to get a more appropriate definition of what can and cannot be used as a source. As a general rule, self-published information is not acceptable here. —DuncanWhat I Do / What I Say 01:59, 23 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
My understanding of WP:SELFPUB would suggest the opposite: that a page written by someone themselves without doubt of authenticity is a good source, not a bad one. Reswobslc (talk) 20:35, 26 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Given that the article is deleted, do you want the case closed? --Mikemoral♪♫ 02:09, 30 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please close the case, the issue was resolved by the removal of the entire document.--LDSFaithFighter2009 12:54, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
