Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:31, 11 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I noticed you had tried to sign with a similar character, so guessed you might be struggling to work out where it is on your keyboard... Here's another way: just beneath the "save page" there should be a box that contains " Sign your posts on talk pages: ~~~~" you can click on the squiggles and they'll be added into the editing window. Some resources for you edit

Hi Professor Sharky! I enjoyed working with you in the workshop at the Summit. Chzz and I have made a page with some links to guides and resources to supplement the information we gave you at the workshop. You can find it at User:Chzz/gw. Feel free to ask either of us any questions you may come up with. Thanks, and good luck in the semesters to come! GorillaWarfare (talk) 01:51, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome edit

Hello, Lasharky, and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are a course instructor leading a class project. We encourage you to read our instructions for teachers and lecturers. It is strongly recommended that you add your class to our list of school and university projects. For more help about educational projects using Wikipedia, see our classroom coordination project which was created for the very purpose of assisting course instructors who use Wikipedia for their courses.

Here are some other pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question.

Before your students create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not. Unencyclopedic articles are subject to deletion.

We highly recommend that you place {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and should be treated accordingly.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay after your assignment is finished! Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 07:58, 12 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
