The Black Inferno edit

A tag has been placed on The Black Inferno, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

Repeated consensus has found that gamers, and gaming guilds and clans, do not meet our Notability Standards. -- Fan-1967 23:34, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Runescape Clan edit

Unfortunately, the article you created called "The Black Inferno" doesn't quite merit an article here on Wikipedia. Please read the notability guidelines for more info. Thank you. -- P.B. Pilhet / Talk 23:36, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Türkiye Portalı edit

Merhaba geçenlerde Türkiye Portalını seçkin portallara aday gösterdim Wikipedia:Featured portal candidates/Portal:Turkey/archive1. Fakat bir Vikiproje Türkiye üyesi dışında kimse oy kullanmadı. Gelen karşıt oylarla kabul edilmemiş oldu. Lütfen oyunuzu kullanın.--Absar 12:25, 6 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi edit

I got your note, I will see what I can do. In any case, never forget that they are just articles :) By the way, try not to edit other people's user pages - some people can consider them as vandalism.. Just an advice. If you need help with anything, just let me know. Cheers! Baristarim 03:18, 5 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Btw, do you have e-mail? Baristarim 03:19, 5 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Bombing in Anafartalar edit

The reason I put in discussions was that someone could take care of the technical stuff, becuase im not a hardcore wikier. But deleting it is a bit extreme, as i gave the source...I did not want to get into a revert war, so would you put it back and if you will not, please tell me why notKorrybean 02:11, 23 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sorry CNN.com owns the copyright to that material. You can merely leave a link to the material. Also a PKK tie appears premature at this point. I have however initiated a 2007 Ankara bombing prior to your post. -- Cat chi? 02:21, 23 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Turkey) edit

Hi. I was wondering if you'd be interested in setting up Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Turkey), based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). Now it's not a contest in itself, it's designed to motivate people to inspire others to improve content and build something which demonstrates the hard work going into the country which is visible. The focus is more on quality improvements but new articles are welcome too. Eventually a Turkish National Contest could be created to fuel it, like Wikipedia:Awaken the Dragon, in which contestants can choose to keep the Amazon vouchers themselves to buy their own books for more articles or put them into book fund to help editors further improve Turkish-related topics by giving them the books they want. It will begin though as purely an improvement drive. If interested, or you think anybody else might be interested, alert them and sign up on the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Turkey talk page at the bottom. Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 14:12, 19 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:01, 20 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
