Hello, Khari and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Go through our online training for students

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! —C.Fred (talk) 03:03, 8 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

{{help me}} Hello C.Fred I'm really not sure what I'm doing. My Instructor has grouped classmates in learning teams and one of our group members has to create a team Wiki so we will be able to submit write ups on selected topics. Is that possible here? I've been reading and trying to understand if its even possible and I'm a little confused. When I created the page last night I believe I put test down trying to see if I was creating a wiki the right way but I did intend on using that page if it was possible. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Khari. It sounds like your instructor hasn't done his homework, so to speak. A team wiki for write-ups is not an acceptable article, so you can't just create something in article space. If you're using the page as a starting point to improve articles, it is reasonably appropriate to create a page in your user space about the assignment, such as User:Khari/UOP Team C write-ups.
If your instructor hasn't already, he should really get in touch with Wikipedia:Education program for guidance on how to run a classroom assignment that has students editing Wikipedia. He can also contact me directly on my user talk page if he wants pointers. —C.Fred (talk) 00:56, 9 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
