Edit summaries and sandboxes

edit

Hi Kevin. Good work, but there are two specific points about wikipedia that you may not be aware of.

  • Edit summaries - when you make an edit, please leave an edit summary so that other editors can more easily see what you have done by looking at the page history. You will find more details at Help:Edit summary.
  • Talk pages like this one are for communications between editors, not for drafting articles. A better place for doing that is to create a sandbox in your userspace. More details at Wikipedia:About the Sandbox.

Any questions, leave a note here (see Help:Talk pages) and I will get back to you. Thanks. Derek Andrews (talk) 13:17, 28 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
