edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Nick Markakis has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/v/OzT9h8QYpgE&hl=en&fs=1&", http://www.youtube.com/v/OzT9h8QYpgE&hl=en&fs=1&" (matching the regex rule \byoutube\.com). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 21:15, 13 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Right Side Foundation

edit

Hi, I see you suddenly deleted the entire content of the The Right Side Foundation article. From my quick scan of Google hits for it I got the impression that it has already been written up enough in reliable sources to be considered notable so, assuming others don't disagree, it merits an article. But I wanted to remark on one of your edit summaries, where you said you'd put the list of events back in because they are facts about the organization. I didn't doubt that they were facts, but a tabular listing like that, with the kind of specifics you were including about each event, and the impression that more events are going to be added there as they happen, is at a level of detail that seems to me to fall beyond the scope of an encyclopedia. Please take a look at the article What Wikipedia is not, particular the sections Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information and Wikipedia is not a web host. A list of events and other information of the sort that is provided to persuade the reader to appreciate the topic belongs, as I see it, on an organization's own website, not in a Wikipedia article. Material that appears here may not be designed to create appeal or generate enthusiasm. All information needs to be objective and presented in an objective manner.
