We are told: Mahlouji’s work draws attention to the relationships between trace and memory, image and document, fragment and whole, ruin and monument. It focuses on the visibility of the invisible, the relation between absence and presence, and the absent-presence. Throughout his body of work, Mahlouji engages with forms and methods of historicization. In this regard, his work bears in mind the relational dynamics between chronicle and history, fact and discourse, objective truth and narrative or experience. The curatorial research is constantly conscious of topographies of grief or of loss when analysing the work. A central question is whether those territories act or stand as incontestable forms of resistance or militancy, and where the absent-presence is potentially at its most potent. The prose is purple (actually it sounds parodic), and utterly unreferenced. Which reliable sources say this kind of thing? And which reliable sources discuss Mahlouji or his work in depth?

The lede does not need refs, provided the relevant text is referenced in the body. Please, please set out clearly what this person is notable for and provide some key references that demonstrate that. I personally believe that he may well be notable but having waded through many of the refs, I became convinced that the early refs were self penned and came from a well distributed CV, endlessly re-printed. Ref bombing makes the reviewer's job so much more difficult. Please give us a little help in getting this accepted

We want to know what is said about Vali Mahlouji not a list of faux-references to what he has curated. WP:REFBOMB suggests him not to be notable. Cut them down, please. Cit them down a lot.

Hello, Kasrahmanian. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Vali Mahlouji".
