Actually, the problem here is that I was made aware of several attempts to link to Encyclopaedia Dramatica from a user subpage. That subpage has since been deleted, but per Enforcement #1 of the ArbCom decision, links to ED are subject to removal and blocking of the users posting them. --Coredesat 09:19, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
Right. So explain to me, where are (were) the offending links that were in my (now deleted) (and the userpage you are referring probably never existed, cause you see, there is this handy tool that shows edits I made to deleted articles/pages) subpages. Also, feel free to check out my subpages at User:K37/Main, User:K37/sigs and User:K37/Userbox. Can you go back and look through the page histories for them, and if you find any, you can screencap and put it on my userpage as a trophy for all to see, sir, if you feel like it. I would appreciate an answer, because I don't feel that the block is justified... I may internet while drunk, and I may do some questionable things, but I don't go out of my way just to violate God's word. I've made a number of positive contributions towards the project, and I sure as hell haven't linked damn Encyclopedia Dramatica in ANY of my user subpages. I would like you to take the time to give me a real answer as to why I was blocked all of a sudden. Please? :3-DESU 10:25, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- Please stand by while I request comment by the blocking administrator. Sandstein 22:02, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
Unblocked
editI've unblocked you per the discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Need_a_block_of_mine_reviewed after Coredesat requested for his/her block to be reviewed. Cowman109Talk 22:14, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thankyou!-DESU 22:15, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
I apologize for the inconvenience I caused when I blocked you. I'll be sure to show greater discretion in the future. --Coredesat 22:18, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- No worries, thanks for taking the time to get it examined and reviewed-DESU 22:20, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
For the record, you will be reblocked if you harass Mongo or Hipocrite. They have specifically requested that you not post on their talk pages, so please don't do so in the future (you last posted to their talk pages on the 23rd I believe). Thank you. Cowman109Talk 03:26, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, I'm not trying to stir up trouble. I'll keep clear of them from now on. Thanks-DESU 03:31, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

The RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar | ||
I, Chrislk02, award you this anti vandalism barnstar for reverting the vandal who thought it was cool to deface my page. Keep up the good work, it is much appreciated. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 22:53, 31 January 2007 (UTC) |
Thanks a lot! It wasn't a big deal, but it is nice to be appreciated ^^-DESU 23:04, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- I know it was no big deal, but I personally feel that people who revert vandalism are often the hardest woring, least appreciated wikipedians. (I know because I feel that way sometimes). There is always somebody to gripe and complain about the 1 revert you did wrong vs the hundereds you did right! Just wanted to say thanks! -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 23:13, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
I just wanted to thank you for being so understanding about my (wrongly) nominating this article for deletion and then adding sources to it so quickly. The article looks a lot better now and I appreciate your patience. janejellyroll 01:18, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- No problem. Lack of sources is an ongoing theme in the metal articles unfortunately :(-from K37 01:19, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Lord Kaos, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Peripitus (Talk) 11:06, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- RE: removing the PROD tag - not a problem....that's part of the process. Much better with the references/citations - Peripitus (Talk) 11:36, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:EroGuro.JPG)
editThanks for uploading Image:EroGuro.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. I believe BMTH are Deathcore, I have written a fairly lengthy comment on here, so if you would like to leave your views on why you believe them to be metalcore, I would be more than happy to take them into consideration. Also on the BMTH page, it says "They have incorporated elements of death metal and metalcore, resulting in their genre best being described as deathcore" - so I am taking this as correct. However, I am open to hearing other people's views! Thanks, Asics talk Editor review! 12:55, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- It doesn't particularly worry me (as I don't like metalcore or hardcore.... I think it is all shit tbh :P - typical metalhead...) but I'd suggest finding some reliable sources for their genre, as most of the stuff I found claims them to be metalcore-K@ngiemeep! 13:01, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
Dragonette
editI know. While there's many articles that are dubiously sourced by an official website and myspace, that article screamed that there obviously was going to be some coverage for this band and after finding The Guardian coverage on the second page of results I knew there was likely to be more. Then for the nom to turn round and say "it's not my job" wasn't the best way to dig himself out of the hole..... One Night In Hackney303 12:18, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Prodigy project
editIf it is your intention to activate the above project, I might consider contacting the WikiProject Biography and asking them to set it up as a task force. Also, I think making the existing project page a bit more "filled out" would be a step in the right direction, as would listing it perhaps on the Proposed projects page. I personally would have no reservations about keeping the project page extant under these conditions. If you should want any help in perhaps trying to "flesh out" the page, let me know and I'll see what I can do to help. John Carter 14:52, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Plasmo.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Plasmo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 22:22, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
