Unless text is explicitly free of copyright and is shown to be so, placing it on Wikipedia is both plagiarism and in conflict with the GNU free-use licence of Wikipedia text. Any improvement to South Australian articles is welcomed, and if you work for the Art Gallery you may be able to make great additions in that area, but we can't violate copyright. Well the dilemma is that being the source of much of the info on the AGSA we have made this available to some external local websites as well a sour own website and published the text on our pamphlet on the Gallery. Of course we hold copyright for this. So, without having to rephrase the text can I GNU licence it somehow and then use it? If the Art Gallery (or any organisation/individual) wholly releases the copyright for the text, or licenses it under the GNU FDL, it can be used "as is" here. See Wikipedia:Copyrights. michael ^talk 07:04, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
