I should have left you a milder warning than this one when I previously removed that content, but it seems I forgot to; I'm sorry about that. Anyway, I'd have thought the warning on the talk-page of the article was clear enough. Please now be clearly aware that if you add copyright-infringing content to Wikipedia again, I intend to ask that you be blocked from further editing. I don't mean that you shouldn't edit here, you are welcome to of course; but please make sure that nothing you add to the project is copied from elsewhere. And, of course, that anything you add is supported by independent reliable sources. Thank you, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 18:45, 24 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Good day Mr Malanot

I am the webmaster of www.lenasialivestock.co.za and we have various breed descriptions on the website. I hereby confirm in writing that the information of the Meatmaster sheep comes from the Wikipedia page and that I am not the original source of the information.

I have been contacted by Mr Justice Malanot, the South African moderator of the Meatmaster Sheep page and a Wikipedia Editor. It appears the fact that I put up a copyright sign for the design of the lenasia website has caused a Wikipedia editor called Justlettersandnumbers to lodge a copyright dispute against Mr Justice Malanot and caused the Wikipedia Meatmaster Sheep page to be deleted.

Kindly resolve this dispute correctly by restoring the original Meatmaster sheep entry that MrMalanot and the Meatmaster Sheep group contributed. I am not the original of the work but had simply copied and pasted the very good informative Meatmaster Wikipedia entry and used it on the Lenasia livestock page. Apologies for any inconvenience caused

Sincerely

Further Background information: 1) I, Justice Malanot, am the moderator of the Facebook Meatmaster Page with more than 800 users in a dozen countries as breeders. 2)With the input of more than 800 users on the FB Meatmaster sheep page I wrote up the additional information about the Meatmaster Sheep breed as per the Wikipedia Edit history. 3)The Meatmaster Sheep Breed Soeciety members were all happy with it as you can verify on the FB Meatmaster page where the Wiki page have been discussed -see the history posted below. The consensus after input from many people were = good job. It is a very good breed description. 3)The Lenasia Livestock webmaster copied the Meatmaster Wikipedia entry word for word -and put it under his breed description for the Meatmaster sheep on his page=and he then added a general Copyright notice at the bottom of the page. I. Justice Malanot, did not steal the copyrighted material from him -he copied it and pasted it from the Meatmaster Sheep Wikipedia page to his Lenasialivestock page. See http://www.lenasialivestock.co.za/sheep2.html and compare it to the information put together by myself on the FB Meatmaster paga eat an earlier date at https://www.facebook.com/groups/218924401492677/?ref=ts&fref=ts and the Meatmaster Sheep Wikipedia entry under the edit history. 4)Kindly indicate what I did wrong specifically and how I can improve. 5)There are more than 800 Meatmaster breeders on the Meatmaster FB Page and they were all happy with the Wikipedia entry and information. The fact that the high level of accurate information was then copied by people giving a breed description on their own commercial pages should not be a problem. The real issue is that they should credit Wikipedia as the source. As per the email from the webmaster this is now being done.

There is no copyright infringement from Justice Malanot from the Lenasia page as alleged and miscommunicated by User:Justlettersandnumbers. That information was gathered by the person from Wikipedia and is a copy and paste of my original summary contribution -look at the Wiki reference numbers as a dead give away of the copy and paste.

Sincerely

Justice Malanot Facebook Meatmaster Sheep page Moderator

Herewith the FaceBook Meatmaster Sheep information and copy right permission from https://www.facebook.com/groups/218924401492677/?ref=ts&fref=ts#

Public GroupPublic Group Origin and Overview A group of South African farmers experienced the tremendous advantages of fat-tailed hair breeds regarding fertility, resistance to various diseases, resistance to external and internal parasites, and durability and survival skills in times of extreme drought, herding instinct to protect the herd from predators and good strong teeth ensuring a long lifespan. They also realised that not only in South Africa but world wide these breeds lacked two vital components preventing them becoming highly sought after economic meat producers. That was fat localisation with poor distribution and lack of muscling leading to flat sidedness and late maturity. In the early nineteen nineties (1990), determined to utilise the advantages of the indigenous fat tailed hair breeds and realising the huge gap between the fat tailed breeds and the well muscled British and European breeds and the need world wide for a truly good pure hair breed with good meat qualities, it was decided to develop a composite breed. Various fat-tailed breeds were thus crossed with well muscled breeds and the dream of the Meatmaster emerged. The Meatmaster is a composite sheep breed in South Africa. It is bred as a non-fat tailed hair-type sheep for meat production. It offers farmers an alternative with unique characteristics to meet the needs of a huge market in South Africa and around the world. At the moment Meatmaster breeders are found mainly in the central and Western extensive sheep breeding areas of South Africa. Meatmasters are however represented in all 9 Provinces of South Africa and are becoming increasingly popular in agricultural areas with a need for a sheep breed with extreme easy care and high production. The breeds greater resistance to tick born diseases and strong herd instinct is also leading to a big demand for Meatmasters in the Northern Bush veld areas of South Africa. The Meatmaster was registared as a breed in 2007 and the Meatmaster Breed Society as a society in 2008. By posting pictures on this Facebook page you agree that they may be used on Wikipedia to describe the Meatmaster Breed

Herewith a request for guidance when I could not get a response from the editors alleging copyright infringement.

From: Head Office Biotech Tree Lucerne [4] Sent: 27 August 2014 09:41 AM To: 'permissions-commons@wikimedia.org' Subject: Note on Meatmaster FB Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/218924401492677/?ref=ts&fref=ts#

Greetings everyone on the FB Meatmaster page Just a heads up - the information I wrote for Wikipedia and the Meatmaster Sheep Breed entry about the Meatmaster Sheep Breed is currently in dispute. A Wikipedia Editor called Justlettersandnumbers claim that the breed description summary information that was written by Justice Malanot is in fact a copyright violation from [5]. This Lenasia person obviously copied the very good breed description from Wikipedia and put it on his commercial page- but did not credit it to Wikipedia -even though the reference numbers are clearly visible. I post this entry on the Meatmaster page so that Wikipedia can confirm that the information originated from myself as a Moderator both on the Meatmaster Sheep Facebook page and as a Wikipedia Editor -and to rebuff the false accusation of copyright infringement. I also point out that the Meatmaster FB Group has a policy that if you post your Meatmaster Sheep Pictures on this group you are explicitly agreeing that these pictures may be selected by the moderators as examples of the Meatmaster Breed in general. If anyone does not agree with this kindly contact me. We aim to keep our breed description accurate and to remain as up to date as possible. As a general rule I am using Boemie Saaimans pictures because he is a moderator on this page and has given me written permission to use his pictures for breed description purposes. Kindly take a look at the current Wikipedia Meatmaster Sheep entry that has been reverted to: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meatmaster You will agree with me that it is inaccurate and in dire need of an update. We hope that Wikipedia will allow the update to stand. Sincerely Justice Malanot

Lastly, in order to finaly refute the allegation of copyright infringement-compare this public notice on the Meatmaster FB page with the Edit history of the Meatmaster Page.

Hello, I'm Jojalozzo. I noticed that you made many changes to an article, Cytisus proliferus, but you didn't provide any reliable sources. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial. Content that cannot be verified by reliable sources will be deleted. Unless you can supply references, most everything you have ever contributed may be removed, which would be a great shame. Cheers. Jojalozzo 15:05, 21 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
