WP:ADOPT edit

Hi there,

Looking through our Archives I saw that you took an interest in the Adopt-a-user program during its formation and development. Well this is just a quick message to tell you the program is well and truly lifted off, with over 200 users involved in the program, 50+ active Adopters and approx. 150 Adoptees, and always expanding. If your still interested please pop by WP:ADOPT, have a look around and ask any questions you want on our talk page. Look forward to seeing you there. Two left edit

I'm finishing up my work on The Empire Strikes Back. All of the sections are done except the Releases and Reaction sections (which I'm having trouble with and if you have a suggestions for any additions, I'd appreciate them). So I was wondering if you would copyedit the article before I submit for FAC? The Filmaker 21:42, 20 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi - I just happened upon Template:To_do_priority. I see that nothing links there, and was wondering if it was intended to be in your userspace instead of template space, if it should be put up for deletion, etc. -- Eitch 00:31, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sounds good; I take it Final Fantasy Chronicles needs some elbow grease? With the references we have on FF4 and CT, it should be no problem. I'll see what I can do. What's the Featured Topic nomination process like? --Zeality 05:04, 4 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

FFXII edit

A long time ago (something like August 2006), you added a bit to the FFXII page saying that it cost 4 billion yen to produce. Do you happen to remember where you found that figure? It would be a nice addition to the article if it were cited. Thanks. Axem Titanium 20:10, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

It seems Deckiller has already answered for me. But yes, we are doing an FA push. Do you happen to remember when/where you saw it, just to give a general sense of where to start looking? Axem Titanium 00:29, 11 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

==McCarthy, McCarthyism== edit

I am inviting all recent editors of Joseph McCarthy to comment on a current dispute. User:KarlBunker, in his stated view out of concern for WP:NPOV#Undue weight, has reverted, deleted, and selectively reinstated factually accurate sourced information that I have added. I contend he is in error. Please see the discussion at Talk:Joseph McCarthy. Thank you. Kaisershatner 17:26, 17 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I was hoping you could run over to The Godfather article and look in the talk page. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles edit

About the change you made to Final fantasy Crystal Chronicles' assessment rating, did you just take it upon yourself to change it or can anyone assess them? I'm not entirely familiar with the assessment procedures, but shouldn't we leave it as start and put in a request to have it assessed again? --Niroht | Smoke signals 20:24, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, again, I'm not entirely certain of the protocols, but between our collective edits it looks like this article should qualify as B-class. As per the plot synopsis, I've put one in the plot and setting section. --Niroht | Smoke signals 20:37, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

General political bias edit

That's an interesting point. While it would be very difficult to find evidence of an overall political bias, it's undeniable that various articles exhibit one or another political bias. However, WP:CSB focusses on overall biases within the project. That's not to say that it definitely shouldn't mention issues around political bias, just that I'm not sure how they could be addressed within the current terms of the project. Talk:War on Terrorism edit

I edited your latest post because it was an obvious personal attack. Just letting you know in case you decide you'd rather just remove it altogether. Quadpus 07:41, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I guess you are saying that criticism of the US policy towards Israel is by definition "anti-semitic"? But where do you get "pro-terrorist"? It still looks like a personal attack to me. Quadpus 09:46, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I was disputing the posters claim that America and Israel are to blame for why they were attacked on 9/11, which is indeed because of the extreme views of the terrorists and not the terrorists self proclaimed grievances which they change every year to justify their atrocities. To argue that the fault for the instigation of the War on Terrorism lies with the West and not with the terrorist themselves is false, and to argue so, I believe, is playing into the hands of terrorists who wish us to castigate ourselves for our minor faults rather than defeat them for their atrocities. No one should support the terrorist view point of "Blame America First", or Israel for that matter. Judgesurreal777 11:21, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
I understand that's your belief. I don't see how simple name-calling was supposed to convey any of that to the poster. Quadpus 11:33, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps I will be more descriptive in future :) Judgesurreal777 12:02, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Chrono Series FT edit

Sorry that your nomination didn't work out, but I think you were fairly close and it wouldn't take much work to get the series to FT status. The lists only need a bit of tidying to be ready for FL, and I think you could but together a half-decent article about the history of the series as a whole to use as a main article. You should keep at it! --Arctic Gnome (talkcontribs) 01:10, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Judgesurreal777. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:CC-logo.svg) was found at the following location: User:Judgesurreal777/About me. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 19:58, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

FFIV edit

Definitely, although the character list can probably remain separate per the FF8 topic. — Deckiller 16:06, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello! edit

Yeah, things have kind of slowed down with ROTJ. It's pretty much done. I just needed to double up on the references and expand the Reaction section a bit. It also needs a good copyedit from a few people. Then it's pretty much done. :) The Filmaker 05:36, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Page-blanking vandalism edit

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. --Ageslimit 08:00, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Did you know? edit

Did you know? was updated. On 25 May, 2007, a fact from the article Chrono (series), which you recently nominated, has been featured in that section on the Main Page. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.
