Orphaned non-free media (File:Whitworth University logo.jpg)
editThanks for uploading File:Whitworth University logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:55, 9 October 2012 (UTC)

Your recent edits
editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 10:12, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
Whitworth University
editThanks for the note at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Universities#Whitworth_University_article. I fixed some problems with the the school logo files and cleaned up some other material in the article. However, Wikipedia is the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit. You can familiarize yourself with the ground rules in Wikipedia:Introduction and then be bold with your edits.--GrapedApe (talk) 11:53, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

Evidence that the OKEx crypto currency exchange fabricates its trading volumes
editHi, Jovan92. When you revised OKEx a few days ago, evidence of fabricated trading volumes at OKEx (and other exchanges) was removed without explanation. I'd like to reinstate it. If you feel its removal was justified, I invite you to discuss it with me on the OKEx talk page. Adelphious (talk) 08:30, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
Edits to OKEx on 16 May 2018
editHi again, Jovan92. The edits you made to "OKEx" on 16 May 2018 were copy-pasted directly from that company's official "About Us" web page. That fails a central tenet of Wikipedia articles, which is to be neutral or impartial. Cite sources diligently, rely on third-party sources when you do, and be transparent about who they really are.
Because you didn't credit the public relations professionals who actually wrote OKEx's "About Us" page, those edits also fail a more general tenet of writing, which is to give credit where credit is due. As a consequence, I mistook their writing for yours.
Though you've been registered on Wikipedia for ten years, perhaps no one ever suggested you look at Wikipedia's help pages to assist your editing. If not, I suggest you start with WP:Tutorial/Citing_sources in particular.
I've improved the impartiality of "OKEx" since then. My changes might be illustrative after a review of Wikipedia's help pages for editors. If you have questions about these issues, I'll answer them if I can. (Caveat: I have no special authority as an editor.) Adelphious (talk) 10:02, 23 May 2018 (UTC)

Conflict of interest policy
editHello, Jovan92. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 15:52, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
A community decision has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to the blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The details of these sanctions are described here. All pages that are broadly related to these topics are subject to a one revert per twenty-four hours restriction, as described here.
General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.You are expected to supply reliable sources to back any cryptocurrency related content added. Cryptocurrency enthusiast websites and blogs are not reliable sources. MER-C 19:44, 9 August 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Termination of editing privileges for covert advertising
edit{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Reminder to administrators: Community sanctions are enacted by community consensus. In order to overturn this block, you must either receive the approval of the blocking administrator or consensus at a community noticeboard (you may need to copy and paste their statement to a community noticeboard).
The following sanction has been imposed on you:
Indefinite topic ban from blockchain and cryptocurrencies, broadly construed.
You have been sanctioned for failing to disclose a financial conflict of interest and moving OKCoin into mainspace in direct contravention of the conflict of interest and paid editing policies.
This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator as authorised by the community's decision at WP:GS/Crypto, and the procedure described by the general sanctions guidelines. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions for that decision. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.
You may appeal this sanction at the administrators' noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. MER-C 05:46, 29 December 2018 (UTC)

. MER-C 05:46, 29 December 2018 (UTC)The file File:OKCoin Logo.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Logo for entity that does not have an article. No reason to retain or transfer to Commons.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 00:31, 19 March 2020 (UTC)
