Bait Ur Rouf Mosque edit

Hi, I just added a few wikilinks to Bait Ur Rouf Mosque and removed the unneeded level 1 section heading. I just wanted to say good job on the article. It's nicely written and well-sourced. Thanks for adding it to the encyclopedia! Schazjmd (talk) 23:29, 7 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Schazjmd:, I hope all is well. I had been extremely nervous about the process of creating an article and extremely grateful for your thoughts and encouragement; thank you very much! Thank you kindly for adding the wikilinks and removing the section 1 heading, I missed doing so and appreciate you catching these and bringing them to my attention to aid in my growth as a contributor. Wishing you a wonderful day! Journey of Learning (talk) 00:10, 8 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

A belated welcome! edit

The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Journey of Learning. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{help me}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Mathglot (talk) 08:40, 22 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Mathglot:,
I hope all is well and that you’re having a magnificent day so far! Thank you for your warm welcome, I’m truly touched and I must say, you now have me craving cookies!
I appreciate your kindness in providing guidance my way and may just take you up on your offer from time to time. I wasn’t aware of the {{help me}} option; the more I learn about Wikipedia, the more I’m fascinated and grateful, not just from a reliable resource standpoint, but from the support that continues to be available.
I noticed you reverted my language acquisition edit. Your summary helped me gain valuable insight, as these were details I had not previously considered. This was a great learning opportunity for me, and I appreciate you taking the time to educate me.
Thank you very much! – Journey of Learning (talk) 10:28, 22 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

February 2020 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Kobe Bryant, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Specifically per MOS:LEADCITE, citations are generally not necessary in the lead if the statement is already supported in the body.Bagumba (talk) 09:33, 27 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Bagumba:,
Thank you very much for your message, I hope you are keeping well. I must apologize to you, as I was not able to respond to your message sooner based on my personal volumes, however, I appreciate you taking the time to provide mentorship around citations within the lead portion of an article and for extending the MOS:LEADCITE link for future reference. This is extremely helpful and I will ensure to be guided by it.
I hope you don't mind if I reach out to you in the future based on your experience within Wikipedia, should I experience difficulties in identifying an internal resource or require support in some manner with regards to an article.
Wishing you all the very best, and my apologies again for the delay in responding. The time you had taken for my learning benefit is no less valuable, and I appreciate the resource you provided.

Thank you for advising me and take good care. Journey of Learning (talk) 18:08, 14 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

You are welcome.—Bagumba (talk) 00:43, 15 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
