- Hi John, since Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2022_September_4#Category:People_of_the_Russian_Empire we are using "from" rather than "of". Please do not create any more new categories using "People of".
- But we have not changed them all over yet, so before creating new "People from" categories such as Category:People from the British West Indies, please check whether "People of" is currently in use, in which case please use it for now. – Fayenatic London 13:33, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
