Re: Email

edit

Thank you for the email. However, please understand that we do not automatically use the English name for natively non-English items. An example I've used elsewhere is that we would certainly not name our article on the Buran shuttle to be Blizzard. Or for a comparable example, our article on the similar rocket is Zenit not Zenith, and Mayak not Lighthouse, Molniya not Lightning, Voskhod not Dawn, etc. I could go on, but I think you get the picture. We definitely want to make sure the historical and technical details of Tsyklon is correct, so if you see issues, please suggest changes on the article's talk page (or you can always leave a message at my talk page, or at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Spaceflight for a larger audience). Just be mindful that Wikipedia strongly discourages conflict of interest editing of the actual articles. Huntster (t @ c) 09:35, 9 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

I don't understand your comments. I represent Yuzhnoye the owner of this vehicle design and name, it's incorrect in this wikipedia page. We would like it corrected. It's unclear what rationale you might have for insisting on an inaccurate name for anything. What conflict of interest is there in spelling a name correctly? Yuzhnoye owns the rights to this name and vehicle. The page is incorrect please do not obstruct our correction of our vehicles name. John Isella
