Hello - I see you are quite new - don't take me nominating your article as anything personal it's just run of the mill business. So for someone to be notable, someone has to write about them - so the press, media coverage, scholarly coverage. Now the person you wrote the article about has written a couple of books but a lot of academics write books so that in itself is not notable (it would be like saying an accountant is notable because they file taxes). Feel free to improve the article with sources and also pop over to the discussion to outline why you should think it should be kept.
