Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of more than one account or IP address by one person. Your recent editing history at Joe De Sena shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. ScrpIronIV 23:26, 23 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

You also need to read WP:BLPPRIMARY. I strongly suggest you read the entirety of WP:BLP as you're close to being blocked. --NeilN talk to me 02:18, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Legal Threat

Your recent edits to User talk:NeilN could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that making such threats on Wikipedia is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Wikipedia, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. Please be sure to comment on content, not contributors, and where possible make specific suggestions for changes supported by reliable independent sources and focusing especially on verifiable errors of fact. Thank you. -- samtar whisper 09:08, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please do not distort my words. I've never made a legal threat here. I've simply made it clear that I would be willing to defend my FACTS in a Court of Law. The people deleting the history have provided no references to support themselves. Please do not distort other people's words. Thank You. Jkxyz (talk) 09:14, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
"I'm happy to see you in Court" tends to show a willingness to take off-wiki legal action -- samtar whisper 09:17, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

"Tends to" is not a threat. That's your opinion. Therefore you've admitted to distorting my words to fit your context. Thank You. Jkxyz (talk) 09:23, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Per Wikipedia:No_legal_threats#Perceived_legal_threats maybe you should just remove the words "I'm happy to see you in Court"? -- samtar whisper 09:26, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Joe De Sena Dispute

Minor BLP issues - overall issue resolved

Continued from here: Before this gets out of hand, what is the exact (quote) you'd like to add to the article, and which source would you use to verify it? -- samtar whisper 09:37, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

I believe something along the lines of.... "During the lawsuit (between Andy, Joe, and Julian) Joseph Desena was shown to have fabricated claims about Julian Kopald to the VT State Police, for which he was unable and failed to provide any substantiating evidence". My source reference is a copy of the police report from the VT State Police, in which the officer writes that Joseph failed to provide any evidence to support his claims against Kopald. Thank you for being civilized and having a discussion. Wholesale deletion of things and threats to block people is really not very nice in my opinion. Thank You.Jkxyz (talk) 09:48, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
No worries :) how about you add this to Talk:Joe De Sena/sandbox and I'll have a look over it -- samtar whisper 09:53, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Jkxyz: Okay, I've just removed the reference you've added as it's a document uploaded to Adobe's file sharing site, which won't past muster. However, is this information available on one other website? If you can find it on just one more website, I'll make sure it gets referenced properly   -- samtar whisper 10:05, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

− Hi Samtar, I did what you told me to do. I frankly don't really care if it involves getting in disputes with people (such as yourself, or NeilN, etc)(because I have no interest in disputing with you, NeilN, etc), but I am Julian Kopald, and this guy Joseph Desena tried to jail me 15 times over the last year, because when I found out that he was defrauding the charity races, I proposed holding a real charity race, and Joe put an end to that by calling the police. He's subsequently sent the FBI to my home, claimed that I was plotting to kill people, and tried to get the power to imprison me 15 times. I've beaten him in Court, 11 times, acting pro se, against 9 lawyers and 5 different law firms in 3 states over the past year. It has been a nightmare, and I'd like the truth to be told and I'd like to clear my name against the charges this guy has been putting out about me. If Wikipedia isn't the place for this type of "history", then that's fine... I'm obviously not in charge here. I'd just like the truth to be told, because I really just want to get on with my life. Thanks. Jkxyz (talk) 10:09, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Understood, I'm afraid if this hasn't been publicly reported by a reputable news agency it just can't be added to the article. I'm sorry to hear what you've been through, have you attempted to speak to the media? -- samtar whisper 10:14, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, thanks man. No worries then. Outside Magazine and Obstacle Racing Media are sitting on the story and there will be a trial next year. I haven't even told you what Joe did to Andy. If this ever gets to the media and they publicize it, it makes that movie "The Social Network" look like Sesame Street. Anyways, it's a crazy world, but it's a great one. I'm happy to be alive, and I just hope that by going to trial... Joe will never be able to do this again. He's harmed a lot of people. I could care less about the company, but he's betrayed and cheated a lot of people, and tried to ruin people's lives, and I just hope there will be some sort of justice in the end. Thanks. Jkxyz (talk) 10:24, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

And you know, I apologize for any surly or aggressive responses to you, NeilN, or anyone... I'm just obviously very close to the situation, so I apologize for any misbehavior or breaking of the rules... my intention is/was just to tell my side of the story. They(Joe+Raptor Group) came after myself and Andy, and I'd just like the truth to be told. Thanks. Jkxyz (talk) 10:28, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Well thanks for being civil about it, a lot of people go on a bit of a rampage when told they can't include something such as this. As for the surly responses, I think they are understandable given your position. If you are interested in sticking around on Wikipedia and editing (which I invite you to do!), please remember that these policies apply even on talk pages. I'd hate for you to get blocked for casually mentioning something :) Have a great Christmas, and a better New Years -- samtar whisper 10:29, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
You too Samtar... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Jkxyz (talk) 10:36, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Just letting you know I've collapsed and hid a section of this to prevent any finger pointing etc, hope you don't mind -- samtar whisper 10:40, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

No, I don't. Not to start another whole conversation again... but I'd just like to also say, that one of the toughest parts of this collapse in the relationship between myself, Andy, and Joe... is that we are being written out of the history, and Joe is denying that we were ever part of the company. That's why I'm going to trial (Joe sued us by the way, because I proposed a real charity race after he got caught in Tampa, so he sued us for "Anti-Competitive Behavior" and other nonsense). So, I'm going to trial, because I want the history to be public record. The Death Race started at my house, Spartan Race is named after my pet Llamma (named Spartan), and I launched the websites. Andy and Joe were the public faces and I was the background guy. Thus... the real history is being systematically deleted, and rewritten to prop up Joe. The "divorce" between us all is incredibly ugly. It's a shame to be a part of it, and I really wish things didn't end up like they have. And like I've said... I just really hope the truth can find a voice at trial, and I hope Wikipedia will also remain a place for the truth, because Andy and I put our hearts and souls into growing these races, and we'd just like the real story to be told. We have the rest of our lives to live and Wikipedia is one of the places that helps defend the truth of how things began. Thanks again.Jkxyz (talk) 10:59, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

I cannot believe what I keep on seeing here. The links to the Tampa fraud are continuously removed! This is a matter of public record and their removal is disrespectful of veterans and disrespectful toward the public who don't deserve to be defrauded!Jkxyz (talk) 22:22, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

You really need to be staying away from these articles. Please read WP:COI, and take your edit requests to the article talk pages. I will be willing to assist, as needed. ScrpIronIV 21:42, 17 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to report vandalism. The articles are continuously changed and a false history is promoted that removes ANdy Weinberg and Julian Kopald.

You can report vandalism by visiting Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Make sure that you read and understand what is and is not vandalism before you submit a report. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 21:48, 17 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Why are you promoting a false history? You reverted and changed the history. Why are you promoting falsehoods?

You need to provide a reliable source for the changes you wish to make. You have not done so. Rather than accusing me of something, why don't you clearly state your position, tell us what is incorrect, and point us to a reliable source which supports your contention? Discuss, not accuse. Wikipedia is a collaborative encyclopedia. ScrpIronIV 21:59, 17 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
I vaguely remember something to do with this ScrapIronIV - I think this thread may help? -- samtar whisper 22:04, 17 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Samtar: I remember this well, but was still willing to try and help this gentleman. I'm trying to show the kind of patience I have seen you show others. I don't seem to be able to communicate that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and needs sources. Yes, he has personal knowledge, but we need verifiability. He seems too close to this topic emotionally to be able to edit neutrally. ScrpIronIV 22:10, 17 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

I have provided multiple sources and you continue to delete them. Do you get paid by Joseph Desena? I launched these companies, you were never there and don't know anything about the history. Stop promoting lies please.

No, you have provided WP:PRIMARY sources which are disputed by OTHER WP:PRIMARY sources. What you need to provide is reliable, independent, third-party sources which support your position. In the mean time, you are edit warring in violation of Wikipedia policies, and are headed toward having your editing privileges revoked. I have offered to help, and yet you make accusations. Please rethink your position here. ScrpIronIV 22:06, 17 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

My position is that the Truth is worth defending. What should I reconsider? I have provided the emails between Joe, Andy, and myself. I have shown the emails when we started it. You can search the corporate records and find that 2000/01 is a lie. You on the other hand have provided nothing at all to support your position that Peak/Spartan started in 2000. All you've done is delete sources, and threaten.

Where are your sources? You reference sources, yet have none... how does that work exactly?

I just put in another source you can see here [1]

What does that say? It's not perfect, but it's getting closer to the truth. (Notice that in this example, 2005 is used.)(Joe keeps changing his story)

"Peak Race is the parent company of Spartan Race" and "Death Race was modified and made accessible to a much wider racing audience, thus Spartan Race was born."

Here ScrapIronIV is the "entire History" of the Company (s).

Hello Samtar... How are you? They keep on changing the history to delete myself and Andy Weinberg as I've spoken of before. This is part of a concerted effort by Joseph Desena and 10 lawyers to destroy Andy and myself. Peak/Spartan did not start in 2000/01. That is a blatant lie and we are currently fighting a major lawsuit over this.

You can see for yourself... Peak/Spartan was not founded in 2000/01 as they would have you believe... http://www.bizapedia.com/people-search.aspx?fn=joseph&ln=desena&c=&spn=

Hi Samtar... I'm fine with your page. I have no issues at all except for the continuous removal of Andy and myself and the promotion of a false history.

Here is the "Entire History" as seen by the Suffolk Superior Court in Boston... and which Joseph Desena and Spartan Race are now desperately trying to cover up.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for making legal threats or taking legal action. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.

Wikipedia's policy is clear: if you make legal threats on Wikipedia you will not be allowed to edit. Several users have been trying to help you address issues with the Spartan race article for some time now and your only response has been to threaten to take people to a "Court of Law" as you say, and boast about your success record in past trials. I find it impossible not to interpret these statements as threats to take legal action, so I have blocked you from editing to enforce our policy.
