Photos of Empire Theatres (now Scotiabank Theatre)

Hi Jfoley85. I appreciate your willingness to help out with Canadian theatre pages on Wikipedia. I removed your embeds of Empire (now Scotiabank Theatre) in St. John's because they do not provide encyclopedic value to the articles in question. One photo you posted consisted mainly of the Empire logo sign, albeit with some Cineplex televisions in the background. The other photo has the Scotiabank Theatre sign on top of the automated ticket purchasing area, but it doesn't look unique compared to other cinemas. In contrast, the Toronto and Ottawa photos I took show the buildings' unique architectural features.

Here are some things that Cineplex has done with Scotiabank Theatre, and so you can check if St. John's has these or anything similar:

• There are Xscape arcades at both Alberta locations and now at the Ottawa location.
• Calgary, Saskatoon and Toronto have licensed lounges. Ottawa and Toronto allow alcohol consumption in-theatre. (Ottawa only sells beer, while Saskatoon only allows alcohol in VIP Cinemas.) Other location may have different policies.
• All locations offer at least one premium technology such as D-Box, IMAX or UltraAVX.

Please try to capture something unique at these locations. For example, if there is a licensed lounge or an IMAX entrance, you should try getting a photo of that. Thank you for your time. --LABcrabs (talk) 07:50, 26 November 2017 (UTC)

I need something to work with if you want Scotiabank Theatre St. John's illustrated. I've seen the outside on Google Maps back when it was Empire, but nothing unique shows up. I would advise you, again, to look inside and see what you can find at St John's. To simply take a photo of a sign and hall is not enough to establish notability.
