Tiantai dialect

Hi and thank you for contributing Draft:Tiantai dialect. I was thinking of accepting this Articles-for-creation submission, but before I do so, I was wondering if you could list the source(s) you've used in writing it. This will be really helpful. I used this page at Baidu Baike ( https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E5%A4%A9%E5%8F%B0%E8%AF%9D ) and my wife's native speaker knowledge. Jefs (talk) 17:18, 16 December 2017 (UTC)

Baidu Baike is user-contributed, like wikipedia, and so isn't a reliable source by any measure. The direct use of your wife's knowledge makes it original research (and one of the fundamental principles of wikipedia is that original research isn't accepted, see WP:OR). Nevertheless, I don't think these sourcing issue are likely to have a pronounced negative impact on the content, so I'll proceed to promote the draft as an article. But given the sourcing problems, it's possible the article might get nominated for deletion or converted into a redirect to the bigger dialect group. – Uanfala (talk) 18:37, 17 December 2017 (UTC)

Tiantai dialect moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Tiantai dialect, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please submit it using the Articles for Creation template at the top of the page.
