May 2013 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Ibbur has been reverted.
Your edit here to Ibbur was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://thenutgarden.wordpress.com/2013/05/21/impregnation/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 00:46, 22 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Genesis creation narrative. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you.   Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Ibbur. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Theroadislong (talk) 07:37, 22 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Yibbum, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Hi there edit

Be very careful when pasting text from a source in an article, particularly in the way you did so at Omen. Please have a look at the examples given at WP:PLAGIARISM and have a read through WP:COPYVIO. Also note that we generally require reliable sources, and comments replying to a blog generally aren't acceptable, IRWolfie- (talk) 22:16, 22 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

February 2014 edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Dougweller (talk) 06:20, 13 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Although my edits link to a blog, the blog consists solely of high quality, scholarly, primary source texts highly relevant to the given subject and wikipedia page. Please reconsider. Thank you. Jeangophile (talk) 06:29, 13 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I don't see that this link you are adding is appropriate per the list at WP:ELNO. only (talk) 11:20, 13 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

(edit conflict) The suitability or otherwise of the blog (yours, I assume?) isn't actually the issue here - the problem is that since arriving on Wikipedia you seem to have done little else but add links to your blog. That's considered spamming. If you can undertake to refrain from adding these links (there's no reason you can't suggest them on article talkpages if you genuinely think they'd be relevant), then I'd consider unblocking you. However, so long as your primary purpose here is to create links to your blog, the block is valid. Yunshui  11:22, 13 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

The fact that advertising links exist on some pages is irrelevant. It's not that experience editors or Administrators are allowing them, they simply haven't been noticed. I've removed the one you emailed me about. The fact is that you ignored a number of warnings and continued to add your links. I don't see how this blog would be an exception to WP:ELNO.
